Kotsuzumi is a traditional Japanese instrument which you tap while shouting time. You can now learn how to play the kot-suzumi in English at “Ginza de Kotkot-suzumi,” a kotkot-suzumi class for beginners held by the Nougakukou School. You can learn everything from how to hold it correctly to basic playing tech-niques and manners in a one-to-one lesson held at a traditional inn in Ginza, Tokyo. Classes can be attended in casual clothes and there is no need to buy a hand drum. The school offers a one-day free course. Classes are also held in Kyoto, Kobe and Fukuoka.
