Facebook was founded by 2004 by Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg and originally called thefacebook. It was quickly successful on campus and expanded beyond Harvard into other Ivy League schools. Click on “Profile” or if you’re using the new version, click on your name.

The URL now contains something that ends with id=123456789. The number at the end is your profile ID

Log-in to your Facebook account.

Click on the Home dropdown and then Account Settings.

On the Account Settings page, right below you will see a link that says – Download a copy of your Facebook data.
