Resin coatings for industrial

and civil applications.

Resin coatings are widely used as a level of protection for concrete fl oor surfaces in many industrial sectors and, more recently, in a number of civil applications, as they adapt to the operating conditions better than any other form of fl oor covering. The strong point of resins is that they combine a large number of features, such as continuity, waterproofi ng, hygiene and aesthetic effects, in a single system.

Concrete fl oor surfaces easily absorb oils, greases and other pollutants, in fact, and have poor resistance to ag-gressive chemical agents and tend to break up when subject to constant stresses.

Resin treatments and coatings are applied as a practical and aesthetic fi nish in a large number of sectors, including:

For new surfaces and/or those with average wear, sterile or hygienic zones. A smooth, gloss, semi-gloss or opaque colouring finish may be obtained. This type of coating protects against the absorption of oils, greases, fuels and saline solutions. With its high mechanical resistance properties, it is also resistant to pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Thickness 2-3 mm.
