Unfunded Principal Investigator, Increasing and linking early literacy skills acquisition $224, 000 for students with autism from school to home. Proposal was written for the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs Field Initiated Competition. All Doctoral Candidates in the Department of Educational and Clinical Studies at UNLV are required to complete ESP 789 Grant Writing for Human Service. One of the requirements for the above course is to successfully write a full grant proposal based on the current RFP for a field-initiated competition (2012).
