Our legacy
RAC has its deep roots going back in the year 1988 where it started its first operations with the name Mega Matrix and became popular for its timely services and it lead IT peripherals solutions and services then. After a decade Mega matrix became Rent-A-Computer in 1998, continuing based on strong foundation of its service & quality products it’s a leader in IT services today. As the IT & global policies changed in India and with continued support of our customers now we are Private Limited from April 2008. Today, RAC is India’s 1st Rental Company to have multilocations presence with headquarters in Mumbai. The company is owned by its visionary founder & Chairman Mr.Vipul J Pandya.

The Business Portfolio model that RAC IT Solutions has adopted is market driven and has carved out “Six Circles of IT”, which focuses on RAC IT Systems & Peripherals, RAC IT Consumables, RAC Software, RAC IT Services, RAC Education and RAC Advertising. As we seek to carve out a space for itself, it is expanding its product and services offerings to cover new areas of growth.
New business units coming under RACWG – RAC World Group – within the “Six Circles of IT” will complete the over all IT services areas. During the course of the year RACWG is poised to increase it’s presence across country and Establish itself as a truly Local Company.

Group Chairman: Mr.Vipul J Pandya
Mr. Vipul J Pandya is the founder of The RAC World Group. He started the firm with the redistribution of IT consumables in 1988. Under his capable direction the company has registered a manifold growth over the years. Mr.Vipul Pandya has leaded the company through his innovative thinking and practical minded approach to business. From systematically handling the firm’s dramatic growth in the initial stages, to motivating his employees to perform to their complete potential, he has been the key figure in the company’s ever rising fortunes.
Under him, the company has strengthened its sales by making the forays in to untapped markets, and the continued up gradation of its business. He has always been keen on stepping up the firm’s services, products and inventory lines over time, and has been instrumental in the rapid expansion of the RAC World Group.
