"Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) narrated to Hazrat Ali (RA) that before going to sleep every night, you should do five things:
(1) Give 4000 Dinar in Charity (2) Read One Quran
(3) Pay the Price for Heaven
(4) Make friendship between two who are fighting (5) Perform One Hajj (Pilgrimage)
Hazrat Ali (RA) asked how can I do all these, to which Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) s aid:
(1) Read Surah Al-Fatiha (Alhamdulilah-he-Rabil Aalameen) 4 times, the reward wi ll be equal to 4000 dinars in charity.
(2) Read Surah Ikhlas (Qul-hu-walahu-ahad) 3 times, the reward will be equal to reading 1 Quran.
(3) Read Astaghfar 10 times, its reward will be making friendship between two wh o were fighting.
(4) Read Darood-Sharif 10 times, its reward will be the price of heaven.
(5) Read Third Kalma (Subhanalahe-walhamdulilahi wala ilaha) 4 times, its reward will be equal to performing 1 Hajj.
Upon hearing this, Hazrat Ali (RA) told the Prophet that he would read these eve ry night before going to sleep."
"When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on Me: let them also, with a will , listen to My call, and believe in Me: that they may walk in the right way." (S urah Al-Baqarah 2, verse 186).

He pleases: and He has power and can carry out his will. (42: 49) For progress in sustenance/Rizq, one should recite the above verse excessive after each Salaah.
And if anyone puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) for him. For Allah will surely accomplish His purpose: Verily for all things has Allah appointed a due Proportion. (65: 3)
Significance: The recitation of the above mentioned verse

---Merits of reciting a Surah from the Holy Quran Merits of reciting a Surah from the Holy Qura:
This Surah is the core of the wajib prayers of every Muslim. Its recitation is equal to the whole Qur an. This Surah has the healing power of all sickness except death. Recite Surah Al Fatihah before beginning any important task in life.
Chapter 2: Surah Al Baqarah
If you recite the four Ayaat of this Surah followed by Ayatul Kursi and then the three Ayaat of this Surah, you won t have any sort of difficulty concerning your health, wealth and family members. Also you ll not forget the Holy Qura n and Shaita n will stay away from you.
Chapter 3: Surah Aale Imran
Recite this Surah on Friday and let Allah (SWT) shower his blessings till sunset and the angels will pray for the forgiveness of the reciter.
If written with saffron and hung in the neck of a woman with the intention of pr egnancy then with Allah (SWT) s command, the woman would be pregnant.
Chapter 4: Surah An Nisa
Recite this Surah every Friday and relieve yourself from the squeezing of the gr ave.
Chapter 5: Surah Al Maidah
The reciter of this Surah will get good deeds added to his account equal to the number of Jews and Christians. His bad deeds will be erased and his position in Allah (SWT) s eyes will be high.

If you recite this Surah on a regular basis, angels will ask for forgiveness til l the Day of Judgement. Write this Surah with saffron, soak and drink its water for 6 days, lots of good things will come to you, problems and ailments will sta y away and you ll keep healthy. There is great reward in reciting this Surah becau se Allah (SWT) s name is mentioned 70 times.
Chapter 7: Surah Al Ar af
Recite this Surah at least once a month; you ll be safe from grief and sorrow on t he Day of Judgement. Recite it on Friday; you ll be with people whose account won t be taken. Write it with rose water and saffron, drink it and keep safe from enem ies and dangerous animals.
Chapter 8: Surah Al Anfal
If you write this Surah and keep it with you, it ll enable you to get your rights from your superior.
Chapter 9: Surah At Tawbah
Recitation of this Surah keeps away from enemies, thieves and fire. Chapter 10: Surah Yunus
If there has been a misunderstanding in your family and you want to know who is at fault, write this Surah together with the name of all family members, and the problem will be solved.

Whosoever has a desire to fulfill let him recite Suratul Hud 13 times Chapter 12: Surah Yusuf
The reciter of this Surah will be safe from envy. Pangs of death will be made ea sy. If you write this Surah and drink its water, you ll have good luck and sustena nce.
Chapter 13: Surah Ar Ra ad
Recitation of this Surah increases sustenance and makes you triumphant against e nemies. Even thunder declares the Glory of Allah (SWT).
Chapter 14: Surah Ibrahim
Pray 2 rakaat every Friday (in 1st rakaa, Surah Ibrahim and 2nd rakaa Surah Al H ijr) after Surah al Fatihah, to be safe from sudden calamity and poverty.
Chapter 15: Surah Hijr
To prosper in business, tie this Surah on your hand or keep it in your pocket. Chapter 16: Surah An Nahl

If you recite this Surah on every Thursday night, you will see the 12th Imam bef ore you die. If a child is stammering, or does not have clear speech, write this Surah, soak in water and let him drink, he will be able to talk clearly.
Chapter 18: Surah Al Kahf
To wake up from sleep at a certain time, recite the last ayah of this Surah. If you recite this Surah every Thursday night, you ll die the death of a martyr. If y ou write this Surah in a bottle with narrow neck, you will be safe from debt, po verty and other problems. If you recite the last ayah of this Surah before sleep ing, a light will appear and it will go till the Holy Qa aba and the angels will p ray for you. If the person is in Mecca, the light will go to Al bayt ul Ma mun and angels will pray for him.
Chapter 19: Surah Maryam
If you keep this Surah with you, you ll have good dreams. If this Surah is hung on the wall, you will be protected from thieves and frightened people will become calm.
Chapter 20: Surah Taha
By reciting this Surah regularly, your book of accounts will be given to you in your right hand on the Day of Judgement. If a man writes this Surah on a green s ilk cloth and goes to a family where he intends to get married, he will not be r efused. When a girl wants to get married she must bathe with the water that this Surah was soaked in. If anyone wishes to get married, he should write ayah 131-132 and tie on his hand.
Chapter 21: Surah Al Anbiya
When one cannot sleep owing to fear and worry, the person should tie his Surah t o ones waist.
Chapter 22: Surah Al Hajj
The reciter of this Surah will get rewards of all previous and future pilgrims. If one recites this Surah on every third day, he will go for Hajj in the same ye ar and if he dies while going he will go straight to heaven.
Chapter 23: Surah Al Mu minoon
To stop someone from drinking alcohol, write this Surah on a white cloth and tie it to your neck. Recite this Surah regularly and be happy at the time of dying. Chapter 24: Surah An Nur
Recite this Surah day and night and none of your family member will be in troubl e. Also 70,000 angels will follow the funeral and pray for your forgiveness. Chapter 25: Surah Al Furqan

Chapter 26: Surah Ash Shu ara

As many angels there are between the heavens and earth, the reciter of this Sura h will be rewarded ten times as many good deeds.

Verily we have put on their necks iron collars reaching upto their chins so that their heads are raised up.

Chapter 37: Surah As Saffat
Protect yourself from misfortunes and calamities by reciting this Surah every Fr iday. Be blessed with health, wealth and children. Allah (SWT) will keep him saf e from evils of shaitan and he will die the death of a martyr. If read over a dy ing person, he will pass away peacefully and easily.
Chapter 38: Surah Saad
Recite regularly; you will be saved from committing big and small sins. Chapter 39: Surah Az Zumar
Allah (SWT) bestows great honours and onlookers will respect you, if you recite this Surah. Keep the Surah on you and everyone will praise you. Also the fire of hell will not touch you. Increases love between Husband and Wife.
Chapter 40: Surah Al Mu min
Purification of the heart. Past and future sins are forgiven. Kept at the place of work, it brings prosperity. If one has white/black spots/pimples/boils, keep this Surah on you to get cured. Soak it, use the water to make dough, dry and gr ind, take a pinch to cure liver, spleen, heart, trembling problems and unconscio usness.
Chapter 41: Surah Hamim Sajda

On the day of Judgement there will be light on your face. Soak it and use the wa ter to make a dough, dry and grind it, having a pinch of it daily cures eye dise ases. Drink water during a journey to safeguard from troubles.
Chapter 43: Surah Az Zukhruf
The reciter is saved from the squeezing of the grave. Water soaked with this Sur ah is good for disease and epilepsy.
Chapter 44: Surah Ad Dukhan
The water in which this Surah has been soaked will cure constipation and stomach ails. Save your self from shaitan and get good dreams by keeping it under your pillow. If you recite on Thursday night, sins will be forgiven and 70,000 angels will ask for forgiveness till the next day. Chapter 45: Surah Al Jathiya

Chapter 67: Surah Al Mulk

You should recite this Surah if you want to memorise the Holy Qur an. Your memory will be excellent and you will not die until you have memorized the Qur an. You wi ll also have no bad luck in life.
Chapter 75: Surah Al Qiyamah
Recite this Surah regularly, you will rise from your grave with light, your live lihood will increase, you will be under Allah (SWT) s protection, people will love you and you will be purified and become humble. Your heart will become strong w hen you drink the water from this Surah. Recite this Surah and act on it; it wil l come to you smiling with good news on the Day of Judgement.
Chapter 76/77: Surah Ad Dahr/Al Insan
You will go to Paradise if you recite it regularly, on every Thursday morning; t he reward is a 100 hoors in heaven, 4000 gardens and a house near the Prophet. T he water of this Surah will cure heart disease.
Chapter 78: Surah An Naba
Recite this Surah daily, you will visit the Holy Qa aba within a year. If you reci te it with the intention of staying awake, you will remain awake. Recite whilst traveling, you will have a safe journey. The water from this Surah will cure sto mach ailments.
Reciter of this Surah will get as much reward as ten times the stars in the sky. Chapter 80: Surah Abasa

20. Ta-Ha (Ta-Ha)
Abu Hurairah (radiAllahu anhu) reported that Allah s messenger (salAllahu alayhi w asalam) said, A thousand years before creating the heavens and the Earth, Allah recited Ta-Ha and Ya-Sin, and when the angels heard the recitation they said, Hap py are the people to whom this comes down, happy are the minds which carry this, and happy are the tongues which utter this.
[Darami transmitted it, at-Tirmidhi]
By reciting this Surah regularly, your book of accounts will be given to you in your right hand on the Day of Judgement. If a man writes this Surah on a green s ilk cloth and goes to a family where he intends to get married, he will not be r efused. When a girl wants to get married she must bathe with the water that this Surah was soaked in. If anyone wishes to get married, he should write ayah 131-132 and tie on his hand.

Abu Umamah (radiAllahu anhu) reported that the messenger of Allah (salAllahu ala yhi wasalam) said, The greatest name of Allah, which if He is called by it, He re sponds, is in three surahs: Al-Baqarah, al Imran and Ta-Ha. Hisham ibn Ammar, the k hateeb of Damascus, said: In Al-Baqarah, it is Allah! There is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exist [Al-Baraqah, 2: 255 ]. In al Imran it is Alif. Laam. Meem. Allah! There is no god but He, the Ever-Livi ng, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists [ al Imran, 3: 1-2]. And in Ta -Ha it is And (all) faces shall be humbled before (Allah), the Ever- Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists [Ta-Ha, 20: 111]. [narrated in a mar fu report (one that is traced all the way back to the Prophet [salAllahu alayhi w asalam], Tafsir of Imam Ibn Kathir)].
21. Al-Anbiya (the Prophets)
When one cannot sleep owing to fear and worry, the person should tie his Surah t o ones waist.
The reciter of this Surah will get rewards of all previous and future pilgrims. If one recites this Surah on every third day, he will go for Hajj in the same ye ar and if he dies while going he will go straight to heaven.

23. Al-Mu minun (the Believers)

35. Al-Fatir (the Originator)
Recite ayah 42 of this Surah and your headache will be cured. 36. Ya-Sin (Ya-Sin) (Ar-Rahmaan 4X)
Recite Surah Yaseen and your sins are forgiven. Recite regularly and the rewards are equal to completing the Holy Quran twelve times. If you recite this Surah f or a sick person, angels will pray for his forgiveness and at time of death they will also attend his funeral. Written with rosewater and Saffron and drunk for 7 days, one s memory would be that he would memorise what he listens. If in disput e one would win. Produces much milk for a weaning mother.
Wird of Surah Yasin:
9a) Recite Surah Yasin three times every day starting on Friday ending on Thursd ay. After that you read Dua Nos 7 of Sahifa Sajjadiyya of Imam Sajjad.
For repelling your enemy:
Start on Tuesday and end on Monday.
For getting promotion or additional office: Start on Sunday and end on Saturday.
For additional wealth:
Start on Thursday and end on Wednesday.

Then you say Ya Mufarrijal hammi farrij 9c) Perform abulution on Friday, face the Qibla and say salawat to the Prophet 1 00 times, then begin the recitation of Surah Yasin, and pronounce your need in t hree places in the surah: After verse 12, after verse 40, after verse 58. You sh ould then repeat the verse 34 times. Allahumma iftah li abwaba rahmatika wa abwaba khaza inika bihaqqi surati Yasin wa tafaddalika wa karamika ya arhama rahimin. Then you say Y a Mufarrijal hammi farrij 101 times. You will surely see the mightiness of Allah at work and his bountifulness.
9d) For getting what you need: Recite Surah Yasin once every day for five consec utive days, and give out its reward on the first day to the Prophet (S). On the second day give out its reward to Leader of the believers, Ali Almurtadha (AS). On the third day give out its reward to the Queen of believing women, Fatima Azz ahra (AS). On the fourth day give out its reward to the Grandson of the Prophet, Imam Hasan Almujtaba (AS). On the fifth day give out its reward to the loved on e of the Prophet, Imam Husain, Leader of the martyrs. And when you finish on the
fifth day say: Allahumma laqad istashfa atu ilaika bil khamsati azama I fasalli alai him waqdhi hajatiy.
9e) For Getting Needs: Recite surah Yasin, and when you reach verse 58, repeat i t 70 times, and say what your needs are, then complete the Surah.
9f) When under stress:
Recite surah Yasin with composure, and whenever you reach a verse with the word m ubin , beseech Allah on your needs. Repeat this recitation till Allah answers your dua.
SOME SPECIAL VERSES OF SURAH YASIN: i) For more wealth recite:
Wal Qur anil hakeem. 100 times every day. ii) For curing mental disorder:
recite Innaka laminal mursalin, 131 times, insha your will see wonders from Allah. iii) For fear of being alone say 100 times:
Laqad haqqal qaulu ala aktharihim fahum layuminun. .html iv) For getting wishes granted:
Recite verse La shamsu yanbagi laha an tudrikal qamaru walal lailu sabiqun nahari wa kullum fi falakin yushabun. seven times on Thursday night.
v) For seeing the Prophet in sleep:
Recite verse Wa khlaqnana lahum min mithilihi ma yarkabun, 30 times for three nigh ts, but don t sleep on a very soft bed.
vi) For achieving your aim:
Say salawat to the Prophet Muhammad and his family seven times, then recite :Wan ufika fis suri fa idhahum minal ajdathi ila rabbihim yansilun.
vii) For dispelling your enemies plots:
Recite verse In kanat illa saihatan wahidatan faidha hum jami un ladaina muhdarun. viii) For getting your wishes granted:
Recite the verse Yasin 818 times for 15 days, starting on Wednesdays. Also you can recite the first verse Yasin 1479 times in one sitting with abulution.
ix) For eye cure: Recite verse:
Wama allamnahu shi ira wama yanbagi lahu. In huwa illa zikhirun wa qur anun mubin. 70 times and your hand over the eyes.
37. As-Saffah (Those Ranges in Ranks)
Protect yourself from misfortunes and calamities by reciting this Surah every Fr iday. Be blessed with health, wealth and children. Allah (SWT) will keep him saf e from evils of shaitan and he will die the death of a martyr. If read over a dy ing person, he will pass away peacefully and easily.
38. Sad (Sad)
Recite regularly; you will be saved from committing big and small sins. 39. Az-Zumar (the Groups)
Allah (SWT) bestows great honours and onlookers will respect you, if you recite this Surah. Keep the Surah on you and everyone will praise you. Also the fire of hell will not touch you. Increases love between Husband and Wife.
40. Ghafar (the Forgiver)
Purification of the heart. Past and future sins are forgiven. Kept at the place of work, it brings prosperity. If one has white/black spots/pimples/boils, keep this Surah on you to get cured. Soak it, use the water to make dough, dry and gr ind, take a pinch to cure liver, spleen, heart, trembling problems and unconscio usness.
41. Ha Meem Sajda or Fusilat (Distinguished)
The messenger of Allah (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, Everything has its fruit and benefits, and the fruit of the Qur an is Ha-Meem (another name for Surah al-Fu ssilat). Chapters beginning with Ha-Meem are beautiful, fresh, fragrant, splendi d mesdows. Whosoever desires to walk around in the mesdows of Paradise should re cite these surahs
[Al-Tadhkar Fi Afdal Al-Adhkar by Imam al-Qurtubi]
Write in a utensil, wash with water and knead flour with that water, make balls, dry it and grind it. Give it to a person who has pain in heart, pain would be r emoved.
N.B. Following are merits of All Suwar starting with "Ha Mim":
i) Whoever recites in Namaz E Shab you ll have liberty to enter the garden of heav en.
ii) Souls of Prophets, believers and pious ones will send salawaat and pray for forgiveness of the reciter of this Surah.
iii) Reciter of this Surah, his mouth will have a pleasant scent and Allah (SWT) showers his blessings on him and neighbours.
42. Ash-Shura (the Consultation)
On the day of Judgement there will be light on your face. Soak it and use the wa ter to make a dough, dry and grind it, having a pinch of it daily cures eye dise ases. Drink water during a journey to safeguard from troubles.
If this surah is written and kept as a talisman, it becomes a means of protectio n and drinking water in which this surah has been dissolved is especially good f or those intending to travel as it provides for a journey without unforeseen pro blems. Contains ayah 19, a wealth ayah, which makes thsi surah wealth surah also .
43. Az-Zukhruf (the Gold) (Ar-Rahmaan 8X)
The reciter is saved from the squeezing of the grave. Water soaked with this Sur ah is good for disease and epilepsy.

If a pregnant woman wears a talisman of surah ad-Dhariyaat, her pregnancy and delivery will be easy. Keeping this surah close to a dying person makes his death easy.
52. At-Tur (the Mount) Safe from Allah's wrath.
Recitation of this surah brings good fortune to the reciter and constant recitat ion by those who have been imprisoned secures an early release from bondage. Sur ah at-Tur, if recited or kept as a talisman, keeps children in good health. A p risoner will be let free if he recites this Surah regularly. A scorpion bite wil l heal if the water soaked with the Surah is sprinkled over it.
53. An-Najm (the Star)
The reward for reciting this surah is ten times the number of believers and sinn ers combined. The reciter will lead a respectable and honourable life and people will love and respect him. Writing this surah and keeping it at a talisman make s one courageous in front of the ruler and makes the ruler respect him. He also comes out victorious in debates and discussions. If you recite this Surah regula rly, you will have a peaceful life, people will love, respect and honour you. 54. Al-Qamar (the Moon)
The best time to recite this surah is at night and this carries the highest rewa rd. The one who recites this surah will have a mount from Jannah on which he wil l sit when he wakes from his grave. Whoever keeps this surah under his cap or tu rban at the time of Jumu ah prayers will be highly respected by the people and his difficulties will be eased.
On the Day of Judgement, the face of the reciter of this Surah will shine. If yo u write this Surah on a Friday and keep it with you in your amama (cap), you wil l be honoured wherever you go.
55. Ar-Rahman (the Most Gracious)
The reciter of this Surah will die a martyr and enter paradise. If you recite th is Surah on Friday morning, you will get great reward. Keep it on you at all tim es to make your work easy. Eyes will be cured. Hang it on the wall to ward of al l insects
