CLEANING PROCCESS

Surface Analysis of Dental Implants by SEM / EDS, Certificate No. 11-0225-NODI

The analysis was executed using the facilities of the Material Engineering Faculty of the Israel Technion Institute: FEI Quan-ta scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Inca X-ray analyzer atQuan-tached to the electron microscope.

The analysis included: Inspection of the surface in backscattering electrons, which due to good elemental contrast, enables detection of the impurities on the surface of the implants, EDS analysis of the typical impurity particles.

Surface examination by means of SEM / EDS analysis:

Edison Medical use an advanced and thorough implant cleaning process for all dental implants to ensure surface structure and surface chemical composition and its purity grade.

All implant products follow a multi-stage cleaning path before declared medically clean and ready for the packag-ing process.

Lamina, Fortis & Wan.

Those three implant systems provide you with a wide selection of solutions to your

im-plant cases.

We have created a one size internal hex (2.45mm) for all implants’ diameters for

simplic-ity and ease of use. All implants are self tapping and have dual threads for best primary

stability. Moreover, The technique used to create the SLA surface – Sand-blasted, Large

grit, Acid-etched – is now the industry standard and leads to optimal cell adherence and

proliferation in the cavities of the roughened implant surface.
