Points of Pride

Educational Excellence

Saint Leo University has been ranked one of the “Top Universities in the South” by U.S. News & World Report based on strength of programs, small class sizes, faculty resources, and related services. Our new liberal arts curriculum, University Explorations, enriches the lives of all undergraduates. We are a regarded as a leader in online education.

Value and Affordability

Boasting small class sizes, Saint Leo delivers affordable excellence in private education. Our undergraduate tuition is one-third less than the national average for private institutions, as reflected in 2012-2013 data.

Catholic Heritage and Timeless Values

Saint Leo University is the oldest Catholic college (founded in 1889) in Florida and one of the largest in the nation. We welcome people of all faiths. Our Benedictine-inspired core values of excel-lence, respect, integrity, personal development, community, and responsible stewardship resonate with students of all generations. We intentionally stress to students our core values, combined with the rigor of critical thinking, as a powerful guide for decision making in a challenging world.

Diversity

Students live and study with counterparts from many back-grounds, places, and cultures. Diverse Issues in Higher Education consistently lists Saint Leo among the top 100 degree providers to minority students. The University Campus sculpture A Spirit

of Belonging celebrates our inclusive spirit.

Military Education

Saint Leo University is celebrating its 40th anniversary of educating active duty servicemembers, veterans, reservists, and their families through Veterans Day 2013. We are a leader in this endeavor and proud to serve those who serve our nation.
