We also recommend personal or airline baggage labels be affixed to your luggage prior to departure from Australia or New Zealand. Your free luggage allowance will be that shown on your airline ticket as opposed to cruise allowable luggage allowance. We advise all passengers to carry glasses, personal items, travel documents, passport, visas and medicines in line with size, capacity and guideline allowances of airlines in your hand luggage. For security reasons, passengers and/or their luggage may be searched each time they board the ship. Any articles that the Carrier deems potentially dangerous to the passengers, the crew and/or the vessel, will be held in custody while the passenger is onboard. Ship’s security will scan all hand-carried luggage when you board in all ports. If bottles of alcohol are detected they will request these are handed to the ships personnel at the gangway, who will issue a receipt and store the bottles safely for you. You can retrieve them from security/reception at the end of the cruise. Valuable luggage travels at the guests own risk. All luggage is to be kept in the cabin with free access to all exits onboard the ship and not to exceed 90x74x43cm in size and 23kg in weight per bag to a maximum of two bags and/or maximum of two hand luggage bags for all cruise destinations and lengths of days. Prams and/or Guest’s own wheelchairs are always allowed in cabins and must be declared at time of booking.

AIR LOST LUGGAGE: Airlines reserve the right to charge a supplement for excess baggage. In the event of luggage handling error by the airline we offer a recovery service. Working with Lost & Found offices of each main international port, the Carrier will make every effort to track your luggage and, where possible, have it sent to the ship or subsequent port of call, surcharges at passenger own expense. To assist in the tracing of any lost luggage the Passenger must present a copy of the P.I.R (Property Irregularity Report) they have submitted to the Lost Property Office of the airport where the Passenger reported the luggage missing to The Carrier.
