Complete services provided to your

complete satisfaction

St. Louis, Missouri, is known as the gateway to the west. Located in the central United States, the city was formed near the confluence of the mighty Mississippi and Missouri rivers in 1673 by French explorers. The city rapidly became integral to America’s westward expansion as a frontier trading post. Many early settlers and

explorers began their westward journey from St. Louis into then uncharted country.

St. Louis-based Jet Aviation offers aircraft operators a similar gateway. Whether it’s through our aircraft maintenance, refurbishment or completions skills or our access to the Jet Aviation network of services worldwide, we can help you get to where you need to be, no matter if your business takes you to a neighboring city or a destination across the world.

Jet Aviation is located at St. Louis Downtown Airport just east of the metro area in Cahokia, Illinois. The St. Louis facility began operating in 1971 as Midcoast Aviation and today it employs nearly 1,000 people. The company was acquired by Jet Aviation in 2006. Today, Jet Aviation St. Louis is recognized as one of the most respected independent service providers in the U.S. with an outstanding reputation for quality in its completions and MRO businesses.

Our professionals, extensive facilities and depth of proven performance all add up to top-notch service for the top-tier aircraft Jet Aviation primarily serves.

Heavy maintenance, inspections, paint, refurbishment and completions are performed at the St. Louis Downtown operation.

Your project is overseen by an experienced customer account manager dedicated to you. Our designers generate floor plans, help you select fabrics and other materials, produce computerized renderings of interior and exterior designs, and help take your project from concept, to engineering, to production and delivery. Our custom cabinetmakers, skilled upholsterers, electronic systems installers, paint experts and others provide unparalleled accountability and quality assurance throughout the production process.

Updating your asset

Refurbishing an aircraft does more than update the look of the interior. A quality refurbishment is centered on improving the function of your aircraft. Refurbishment can improve your aircraft’s performance and mission capabilities to better serve you or your business. You may want to consider mission-enhancing

modifications recommended by our team of specialists in avionics upgrades, glass cockpit integration, SATCOM and much more. Refurbishment gives you the opportunity to upgrade cabin amenities that range from true office-in-the-sky capabilities, to multimedia entertainment systems, to enhanced aircraft seating.

A fresh paint scheme created by our designers and applied within our state-of-the-art paint facility maximizes paint adhesion, corrosion resistance and durability.

After you select your improvements, Jet Aviation performs. We offer true customization backed by extensive in-house resources including engineering, avionics, design, cabinetry and upholstery.

From cabin to cockpit

Whether you are a passenger or a pilot, Jet Aviation offers avionics expertise combined with the depth of engineering resources needed to make things happen. Avionics Expertise

Delivering dependable, quality avionics service requires a combination of product knowledge, hands-on

management, experienced technicians and in-house engineering. Avionics are vital to the operation of your aircraft. With more than 80 years combined experience, our avionics professionals will impress you with a level of avionics knowledge and experience that is unsurpassed in the industry.

Avionics | Engineering

Avionics support and service is provided by a staff of FCC- and A&P-licensed avionics technicians and avionics installers with experience on today’s most popular business jets.

Engineering Resources

We have a highly-experienced in-house engineering team, Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) of all disciplines required to accomplish even the most unique wishes and our STC ODA status. This combination sets Jet Aviation St. Louis apart.

(11)

No two jobs are ever the same and many projects require significant design, analysis and testing efforts to obtain FAA, EASA or Transport Canada Supplemental Type Certification. Our engineering team knows interior completions and keeps abreast of leading edge technologies to ensure we are offering the latest in avionics suites, cabin management systems, safety and the lightest and quietest completions possible. Complex and individualized systems are the norm.

Jet Aviation retains DERs with an array of delegated authorizations. Obtaining this special authority is a lengthy process requiring adherence to strict educational, recurrent training and experience guidelines. As an STC ODA, Jet Aviation is authorized to issue Supplemental Type Certificates, Special Airworthiness Certificates for aircraft that are altered under an STC project and require flight tests, and to amend standard airworthiness

(12)

Starting from scratch

Many aircraft operators have trusted their aircraft to Jet Aviation and the team that has successfully completed numerous structural repair projects since June 2000. Our ASSET (Airframe Structural Solutions from an Experienced Team) program has a unique track record of cost-effective repairs and reconstruction, earning us a reputation in the industry as the team to call when any type of aircraft damage occurs.

For severely damaged corporate jet aircraft, Jet Aviation employs our most important asset – our technical team. They begin with a meticulous in-field assessment. Their analysis precedes any recommendation about whether a business jet can be rebuilt successfully. We recommend

Jet Aviation’s ASSET program has rebuilt badly damaged Falcon 900s, a Falcon 2000, a Gulfstream IV, a Falcon 20, a Bombardier Regional Jet and more. ASSET not only protects aircraft value in complex rebuilds, but also delivers perfection in repair of minor dings and everything in between.

Accessories, components, composites,

calibration and more

There are hundreds of parts on an aircraft. Each and every one serves an important purpose in its operation. Keeping them functioning in peak condition is a Jet Aviation specialty.

Accessories & components

Whether you’re at our facilities for maintenance or modifications or your home base, you have access to Jet Aviation’s airframe, avionics and pneumatic component and accessory expertise. Worked as a stand-alone project or in conjunction with other workscopes, our combination of in-house backshops and complete capabilities are delivered quickly and affordably. Composites

The composites team at Jet Aviation spends countless hours designing and constructing interior and secondary structures. From acrylic window refinishing to the fabrication of complex composite parts, our composite

shop creates custom components that add durability to your aircraft, make your maintenance projects easier and create a foundation for our flawless interiors.

Calibration

As a member of the National Conference of Standard Laboratories, we offer complete calibration and certification traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and can calibrate a full list of instruments to your specifications or to military / OEM specs. Each and every item calibrated by a Jet Aviation metrologist is placarded with a calibration sticker and delivered with a certificate for your records.

(14)

Taking a deeper look

NDT is important to keeping your aircraft in tip top condition. As members of the American Society for Non-destructive Testing (ASNT), Jet Aviation technicians are trained in proper NDT procedures and use this discipline to detect potentially hazardous conditions before they become problematic.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Our certified experts apply radiographic (x-ray), eddy current, magnetic particle, dye penetrant and ultrasonic testing to check an aircraft’s structural integrity.

Jet Aviation has the ComScan 160 II backscatter X-ray system, the most sophisticated tool available for conducting NDT inspections.

(15)

Shine and substance

Whether you want to blend in or stand out, your aircraft’s paint scheme is a reflection of your aircraft’s mission. Once your vision has been captured in a computer-generated, full-color rendering, our artisans go to work. All steps in the process are performed by a team with more than 30 years of aircraft painting experience. Jet Aviation began using more environmentally friendly paint and paint stripper. High-solid paint has fewer thinners and solvents than conventional paint, which results in substantially better coverage. Our paint crew uses electrostatic paint equipment which applies a positive charge to the paint. The paint is attracted to the aircraft, resulting in reduced overspray and increased efficiency.

Our paint hangar utilizes a series of linked systems to condition the air, plus a three-stage filtration system to trap and eliminate remaining airborne contaminants. Airborne contaminants interfere with paint application and adhesion which are essential to appearance and corrosion resistance. The difference is evident in the quality of our paint jobs.
