Flint Group’s approach to continuously improve sustainability is underpinned by our own Mission and Guiding Principles – a fundamental set of simple, clear values.

Flint Group operates within the spirit of the UN Global Compact for sustainability.

Everyday our people and teams are committed to providing increased health, safety and wellbeing whilst a continuous improvement

programme is in place to reduce our current environmental impact now and for future generations.

This strategy enables Flint Group to deliver integrated solutions in the three key dimensions of corporate sustainability*:-

Economic guides corporate governance, code of conduct, risk and compliance.

Environment steers our goal to continually reduce impact on the environment and regulates the reporting of progress with this.

Social drives corporate citizenship, labour practices, people development, social reporting, talent attraction

and retention.

Ensuring we do business right

Ever since Flint Group was formed there has been a strong emphasis placed on “ensuring

that we do business in the right way”.

Identifying and managing risk

Every identified risk is scored for likelihood and impact and categorised within the Flint

Group Risk Profile.

Transparency and accountability

Building on the strong Code of Conduct and

Employee Representation Certificate process,

the board of Flint Group decided to implement

a process for employees to report issues in a

safe and secure environment.

Flint Group has a long tradition in market- leading safe products. To cope with the

ever-faster changing legislation Flint Group has

created a global regulatory organisation.

Community Involvement

Each year - Flint Group provides resources and donations to

numerous great causes that continue to make positive

impacts on the communities we live and work in...

In Cotia, Brazil – Employees volunteer at the ‘Lar Zulmina’

orphanage with Flint Group much needed supplies including clothing, toys and food to the children’s home

In the UK, employees organised a toy drive to provide

presents at Christmas to children who would normally go without

Flint Group also donated over $25,000 to the ‘United Way’ charity that focuses on supporting our local communities in the US

In the United States, Flint Group donated $25,000 towards the ‘Hole in the Wall’ children’s cancer camp

Just some of the many examples of work undertaken in 2014…

Flint Group and its employees also provided disaster relief sending emergency supplies to Chile and Serbia in times of need
