ShareSync from CloudShift Solutions is a business-grade file sync and share service. This collaboration tool enables file and folder syncing across user devices, along with sharing features for distributing and syncing files both internally and externally.One of ShareSync’s primary strengths is its integration with existing tools for both end users and administrators. For end users, ShareSync features multiple points of integration with the Mac and Windows desktop environment, with mobile devices, and with Outlook and Office for Windows. DESKTOP INTEGRATION

MICROSOFT OUTLOOK INTEGRATION (WINDOWS ONLY)
The ShareSync Outlook plugin for Windows allows users to share files with ShareSync without having to leave Outlook.
When a file is shared using Outlook, the ShareSync plugin inserts a unique web link into the body of the email. Any recipient can open the link, regardless of whether or not they are a ShareSync user.
This link sharing can be configured in two ways:
On-demand file sharing lets users attach files while composing an email directly from the Outlook ribbon
Rules-based file sharing lets users configure Outlook plugin settings to always send file attachments as a
ShareSync link, or only if a file exceeds a certain size
By sending links instead of files, users can depend on being able to share files with email, without experiencing any difficulties in delivering messages because of attachment size.
OFFICE PLUGIN
The ShareSync Office plugin for Windows allows users to save files to ShareSync and manage ShareSync settings directly from within the Microsoft Office environment—including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and more. This integration makes it much easier for users to adapt ShareSync to their existing workflow.
The ShareSync Office plugin allows users to:
Save new files to ShareSync directly from the Office ribbon, without using the “Save As” function Share files directly from Office applications using the send link option, instead of opening an email client Collaborate on files together with Co-editing and prevent conflict versions
View and open previously-synced versions of the same file
ADMIN FILE MANAGEMENT
Admin File Management increases the ability for administrators to monitor and manage end user content across their account.

MOBILE PHONE INTEGRATION
ShareSync applications are available for iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, and Kindle Fire. These applications let users access and manage their ShareSync content from their mobile devices.
These apps offer a familiar interface that allows users to: Save files directly to ShareSync using the “share to” feature
View and edit files from their mobile phone (requires third-party software) Share files with colleagues and business partners through email
For iPad users, the “share file” option provides a way to include files as an attachment to an
email, solving a limitation to the iPad that many users find frustrating.
ACTIVE DIRECTORY INTEGRATION
Administrators will appreciate that ShareSync integrates with Microsoft’s Active Directory, the database that controls usernames and passwords for many corporate applications. This simplifies user management because any user additions, removals or changes are instantly propagated to ShareSync. In addition, it lets users use their existing corporate login and password, which assures that their strong password requirements are applied to ShareSync.
Additionally, Active Directory integration allows users access their corporate address books from within the ShareSync interface. Users don’t have to copy and paste email addresses for sharing—instead, ShareSync offers auto-complete for names to speed the sharing process considerably.
CONTROL PANEL INTEGRATION
For many business managers and IT administrators, the most beneficial ShareSync integration feature is its management integration with the Control Panel.
