DELIVERY

METHODS

Face-to-Face

Desire2Learn Trainers can deliver hands-on training workshops at your institution and share best practices on teaching and learning online. On-site training includes play sessions, use case examples, and scenarios. Training typically takes place in a lab setting with each participant working from their own training course.

Blended

Configure your session to suit your needs through unique combinations of Face-to-Face, Self-Paced, Virtual, and technology-based interaction. A typical session can involve intensive on-site training, followed by virtual sessions with participants. Trainers use Desire2Learn Learning Environment Discussions tool, in combination with other communication tools, to highlight helpful information and answer any questions that trainees might have after the Face-to-Face session.

Virtual

Virtual training (synchronous) conducted by our expert Trainers through online web sessions can be a cost effective alternative to face-to-face training. You can schedule a customized, private, virtual training session for your organization or participate in one of our ongoing series. Virtual sessions can be very hands-on as learners work within their own course sites and switch back and forth between watching and doing.

Desire2Learn offers a variety of training delivery methods to suit your needs. Through a consultative

process, we can work with you to shape the training courses to your specific requirements.
