Each course is complete in itself.Together, CEBS courses cover the entire legal, financial and organizational frame-work within which employee benefit plans must function. Take these courses to qualify for the CEBS designation or simply for information.

This term, AACC offers CEBS courses 2, 4 and Compensation 1 and 2.

CEBS exams are administered by computer. Candidates may apply and sit for any number of different exams each quarter.

5 Ways to Register

By STARS — Touch-tone phone registration.

You are eligible to use STARS if you:

• Have enrolled in at least one continuing education noncredit course since September 1991.

• Have lived at the same address as the last time you registered. If you have changed your address or phone number, send us your new information in writ-ing and register by an alternate method.

• Have a valid American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover card.

Before You Pick Up the Phone

STARSwill ask you to key in information using your

touch-tone phone. Fill in the registration form/worksheet. Have your credit card number and expiration date available and provide the following information:

• Social Security number or student ID number • Personal identification number (PIN) — The first time

you ever use STARS, your PIN is your four digit birth month and day (example: 0413 = April 13). You will then be prompted to change your PIN.

• Term — Press the appropriate number on your touch-tone phone when prompted.

STARSnumber — (example: 82349) immediately

fol-lowing each course section number. If a course lacks

a STARSnumber, register by another method.

Registering by STARS

The line may become silent while transactions occur. Do not hang up. If the class you want is full, you can choose to join a waiting list. If and when seats become available, we will call to confirm that you still want to take the class.

Dropping a Course by STARS

You can drop a noncredit course using STARSup to the day before the first class session. The system will guide you through the drop process.

Steps

1. Using the Internet, enter myaacc.aacc.edu

(There is no www before the myaacc).

2. Enter your User ID (first initial, middle initial, last name and up to 14 letters).

3. Enter your password (first four letters of your last name and last four numbers of your Social Security number).

4. Click on Student/Faculty Online Services. 5. Click on Students.

6. Under Registration, click on

Register and Pay for Continuing Education

Noncredit Classes.

7. Enter the course number with or without the section number; complete at least one field and click

Submit.

8. Select your course, scroll down and clickSubmit. 9. Complete the Additional Registration Info page

(optional). ClickSubmit.

10. The Pay for Classes page will appear. If your regis-tration is complete, Select the REGISTER — Register Now(check out) option in the field.

11. Enter your credit card and e-mail address and click

Submit.

12. The Class/Payment Confirmation page will appear. Print this page for your records. You will receive an e-mail confirming your registration.

13. Be sure to clickLog Outin the upper left corner after you complete your transactions.
