Automatic serial
bending system
The glass pairs are positioned on a ring mould. After pre-pro-cessing in the furnace the glass pairs go through a pre-heating– bending–annealing process. The end result is a shape-accu-rate, annealed pre-form of high optical quality, ready further processing in the laminating phase.
Flexible product
range
Two different capability options, two alternative wagon sizes and maximum bending depths, and three furnace lengths are avail-able to provide the best possible solution for the requirements of each customer.
Flexible production
for changing needs
All SBF ScreenMax™ bending furnaces feature automatic, comprehensively program-mable bending, a clear user interface, integrated systems for controlling glass support and counter weights movement as well as loading/unloading section concept designed for high-level ergonomics.

TMadvantages at a glance
1) Automatic bending with pyrometer control. 2) In the bending section the heaters are
located inside of a groove for efficient heat focusing. The system is far superior compar-ing to a system with open coil heaters. 3) Automatic centre support and automatic
wing triggering system provided as a stan-dard feature.
4) Easy access to the mould and glass in load-ing/unloading position.

SUSTAINABLE
GLASS PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY
Glaston takes into account the entire lifecycle of its machines. One key issue is to design and manufacture the constructions to tolerate heavy use. Upgrades and relocations also extend the lifetime of the machine in the market place.Special attention has been paid to the recyclability of materials, particularly to wearing components and parts.
