The International Innovation Units (in spanish, Unidades de Innovación Internacional, UII) are offices

cre-ated under the Euroingenio-Tecnoeuropa Programme to increase the participation of spanish companies

in the 7th EU RTD Framework Programme.

As the manager of the Tecnoeuropa Programme, the Spanish Center for the Development of Industrial

Technology (CDTI) finances both the creation of the International Innovation Units and the results

obtai-ned as they involve new companies in FP7.

The International Innovation Units are linked to technology platforms or business associations. Their main

aim is to help spanish companies to identify opportunities, to prepare proposals and to succeed in the

FP7 and increase the number of proposals coordinated by spanish companies. Also, other entities

(uni-versities, R & D companies, technology centers, etc and other players) will receive valuable information

and support about potential opportunities and partners.

This catalog contains a brief description of the International Innovation Units operating in Spain. During

the preparation stage, the participants in the proposals will find in these International Innovation Units,

assistance to create the consortium, guidance to improve the overall quality of the proposal and

experti-se in participating in the Framework Programmes.

Anyone interested in finding a spanish partner to participate in FP7 could have in the International

Innovation Units a sound source of information, contacts and expert guidance in their specific

technolo-gical areas.
