The applicant’s academic record is required. SAT/ACT scores are not required for undergraduate international students with a grade point average at 75% of highest score. GRE required for Psychology and Counseling graduate programs only. GMAT or GRE required for MBA students.

English Language Proficiency

In order to begin academic programs at Pittsburg State, all international students must submit an official, passing TOEFL, IELTS or PTE score. Students who do not submit such a score will be required to enroll in and successfully complete PSU’s Intensive English Program (IEP) prior to beginning academic coursework. Step 3: Submit official school records

(transcripts) from each secondary school attended for undergraduate (bachelor’s) applicants and each post-secondary school for graduate (master’s) school applicants.

Step 4: Submit official TOEFL, IELTS

or PTE score results (if available).

support and certified bank statement or financial guarantee.

The mission of the College of Technology is to continue to be the number one center for excellence

in technology for the state of Kansas, as well as the

broader region.

• The College of Technology is home to the only Caterpillar ThinkBIGGER program in the world and a

nationally award winning Wood Technology program.

• Each year students have the opportunity to participate in the College of Technology Company Day where more than 200 companies showcase internship and employment opportunities nationwide.

• Engineering Technology students participate in projects-based learning, such as the Lunar Rover, SAE Baja and Midcon Cables.

• The School of Construction works with industry partners to offer paid internships to students starting

their freshman year.

• Students in the Graphics and Imaging Technology

programs are repeat winners in district, regional and

national Addy events.
