JOyce hOLT
Director, Academy of Veterinary Imaging Growing up, I spent time in new mexico and Texas, where I was surrounded by a menagerie of animals and spent most of my time riding horses. I attended Tarleton state university and graduated in 1980 with a bachelor of science degree in animal production. following gradu-ation, I worked for a wholesale grocery company as the manager of the Is depart-ment. I decided to go back to college in 1996 to attend veterinary school. This is where I was introduced to ultrasound and immediately fell in love with it. as fate would have it, I entered ultra-sound school in 1997 and graduated in 1999. I worked as a registered cardiac sonographer for over a year, when I was approached by sound-eklin® to be an
applications specialist. I have been with sound-eklin® for over 11 years now, I am
the director of education. my job is an adventure that encompasses my three biggest passions: animals, ultrasound and travel. I consider myself very fortu-nate to be a part of the sound-eklin®
team and to have the opportunity to build a very successful animal adop-tion program, and have saved hundreds of four-legged friends during the past six years and look forward to another strong year.
