Orchestra Software 1 Orchestrated 4.2 Release Notes

Orchestrated 4.2 Release Notes

New and Updated Features

 Default Process has been moved to Administration → Setup → Inventory and renamed to Item Templates

 Default location is now applied to newly created users automatically.  Users can now remove unnecessary TTB groups.

 A new inventory count sheet query has been added to assist in generating Excel-based inventory count sheets by batch. This can be found under Tools → Queries → User Queries → Orchestrated → Inventory Countsheet

 Document Project is now captured on the rows of Sales and Purchasing documents

 Available-to-Promise now supports multiple date formats

 The Inventory Cost Snapshot is now available under Financial Reports

 Users can now create their own process types, expanding on license specific defaults.

 Barrel Master Data has been added.

 First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) has been added into the batch selection logic. This is set at the company level on the Setup table.

 Finished Good ABV (Proof) target has been added to Brand Master Data  Brand Category & Type have been added to Brand Master Data for

OrchestratedSPIRITS only.

 Items with no BoM are now populating when using the Warehouse Assignment Wizard.

 User-defined Process Type support has been added to the following: o Warehouse Assignment Wizard

o Brand Creation Wizard o PdO Creation Wizard o PdO Release Wizard o PdO Close Wizard o Item Templates o Item Master Data

o All production worksheets

 All production worksheets have been reworked to load much faster

 Resources and Line Text support has been added to all production worksheets.  Barrel Management has been added to Production Forms, any interaction with a

barrel will have to be done here.

 Users can now execute the express function from a Production Order

 Express now pre-fills planned quantity to actual quantity based on oldest batch or batch expiration (if set at the company level). This feature can turned partially or completely off from the Setup Table

 TTB number is automatically generated and placed on a barrel with each fill  Blending has been updated to include Proof support

Advanced QC Improvements

 Form settings have been enabled for Bright Tank QC

 Time is no longer required when entering data on Bright Tank QC  Batches are now properly displayed on Bright Tank QC

 Fermentation QC now accounts for a change in item within the same tank  ABV & pH targets are now displayed on Fermentation QC

 Better linkage between Cellar QC & Advanced Fermentation QC

 Targets from Brand Master Data are now accurately populating in Batch Quality Analysis

Bug Fixes

 TTB Proprietorship entities can now actually be removed.  TTB Proprietorship object is now created in all database.

 Finalizer no longer adds a duplicate deposit item if a deposit item exists on a document.

 Fixed a bug where “Hide on Production Details” checkbox bleeds into Accounting tab on Item Groups

 Missing TTB Group values are now populated

 The follow bugs have been resolved for Item Templates:

o Removing blank rows no longer causes Orchestrated to crash

o Adding multiple blank rows in the warehouse tab would cause the form to not unload properly

o Adding multiple blank rows in the BoM tab would cause the form to not unload properly

o Blank error codes no longer cause add-on to crash

o Non-inventory items can now be added to the BoM section

 Fixed a bug where the Inventory Transfer Request would crash under certain conditions

 Miscellaneous bug fixes have been applied to the batches tab on Item Master Data

 Fixed a bug where items with no warehouses were not appearing in the Warehouse Assignment Wizard

 Fixed a few typos on Brand Master Data

 Fixed a bug on Brand Creation Wizard where warehouses were not being properly validated

 The following bugs have been resolved for Express:

o Changing date formats would break Express production.

o Production orders create negative committed quantity under certain circumstances

o Fields are now locked when trying to resize

the Orchestrated add-on

 Fixed a bug where the Bill of Materials would not display properly if the user had both an OrchestratedBEER and an OrchestratedSPIRITS license

 Yeast data now refreshes when you switch tabs on the brew and cook sheets.  The following bugs have been resolved on the Cellar Worksheet:

o Date fixes

o Occasionally item code is not populated in rows

o Header data can now be updated when re-entering the form o Switching documents would cause a crash under specific scenarios  Fixed a bug where you could not click on the PdO number in Batch Backtrace  Fixed a bug where blending occasionally caused a crash on Batch Backtrace  Fixed a bug on partially processed Express Disassemble production orders failing  The following bugs have been resolved on the PdO Close Wizard:

o PdO close wizard no longer has a substantial pause / black screen. o PdO close wizard now closes all PdOs.

o Batch number no longer pulls from Brew Number

 Due Time has been created in all databases to resolve the occasional issue with Scheduler

 The following bugs have been resolved for Bright Tank QC (Adv. QC) o Changing location no longer crashes Orchestrated

o Brand targets are now populating properly o “Fermenters” label changed to “Tanks” o Batch information is now populating properly

 Weekly Water Analysis (Adv. QC) no longer crashes when trying to open it  Milled Sample Sieve has been temporarily removed

 Fixed a bug where brand targets were not populating properly on Fermentation QC (Adv. QC)

 Fixed a bug where CHILL samples were not being generated from Micro Scheduler (Adv. QC)

New and Updated Reports

Check Register: A new Check Register report has been added, allows users a variety of display options.

Open Service GRPO Balance: A simple report to determine the service/item/both GRPO balance as of a certain date

Project P&L: Profit & Loss like statement utilizing transactions associated with a project.

Inventory Count Variance Analysis:A by item report of inventory count variances over a period of time.

Inventory Not Counted Since:Displays a simple list of items and when the last time was they were counted.

Quick Raw Item Planning:A week’s-on-hand like report for your inventory  Barrel Tag:A gorgeous new 4x6 barrel tag with barcodes for the barrel-ID &

batch-ID. Must be used from Barrel Management Console

BoM Cost Variance by Month:View how the cost of production fluctuates on a month-to-month basis for your products

Indented Costed BoM:Industry standard report to view the cost of components of a given production item.

Production Cost Analysis By Item with Price Lists: Users can now choose a price list when running this report.

Production Dashboard:Dashboard displaying multiple production KPIs and statistics across the production facility.

Quick Volume Produced: Displays snapshot of volume produced for a period by brand / package family / package type.

TTB Case Tags (Spirits): For OrchestratedSPIRITS customers, TTB valid finished goods case tags.

TTB Reporting:The TTB Report has been updated to support the 2015 quarterly “short form” format

Goals Overview:Provides the user a one year high level view of their goals vs sales.

Goals Summary:Displays Goals based on a variable grouping.

Sales On-Time Delivery Performance:Displays a list of comparison of estimated ship date compared to actual date on a delivery document.

Expense Item Details:Project codes are now linked to document details.  Inventory Activity Summary:Updated to include Group by Location or

Warehouse

Inventory Aging Analysis:Now updated to include variable grouping and measure.

Tank Inventory Snapshot:Updated to account for various units of measure and product value in tank.

Tank Utilization:Vastly improved with overviews and more detailed data over a 30/60/90 day period.

production orders and comments.

Production Cost Analysis by Process:Disassembly production orders no longer cause “div/0” error.

Spent Grain Schedule:Updates to this report include subtotals by day, brew house interval consideration, details by grain item and batch selected information for compliance.

Item Sales Analysis:Updated to be faster, and now include variable grouping as well as a number of new parameters.

Retired Reports

A number of reports and layouts have been replaced or renamed over the years. This has led to an abundance of retired reports that are no longer supported. These reports only clutter up menus. If you rely on any of retired reports, please contact support and they will put them back for you.
