Creative questions

1. Whose message is Al-Quran? How is the Holy Quran recited? Write three sentences why you recite the Holy Quran?

Answer: Al- Quran is the message of Allah. The holy Quran is recited with Tajwid. Tajwid describes Makhraj, Idgam, Gunnah etc.

Three sentences why I recite the holy Quran are- 1) To understand its meaning.

2) To do the biddings (orders) of the Quran.

3) To refrain from what Allah has forbidden us.

2. Who is the custodian of the holy Quran? Write four aims of the recitation of the Holy Quran (2019)

Answer: Allah is the custodian of the Holy Quran. Four aims of the recitation of the Quran are given below:

 To recite correctly.

 To understand its meaning.

 To do the biddings (orders) of the Quran.

 To refrain from what Allah has forbidden us.

3. How many verses are there in Sura Al-Fil? Write the pronunciation of sura Al-Fil in English(2019)

Answer: There are 5 verses in sura Al-Fil.

The pronunciation of sura Al-Fil in English are given below:

1) Alam Tara Kaifa Fa’ala Rabbuka Bi-Ash Habil Fil, 2) Alam Yaj’al Kaidahum Fee Tad-Leel,

3) Wa Arshala Alaihim Tairan Ababeel, 4) Tarmeehim Bihijaratim Min Sijjeel,

5) Faja’ala Hum Ka’asfim Ma’kool.

4. Write the pronunciation and meaning of sura Al-Kausar in English(2019) Answer:

Pronunciation

1) Inna A’taina kal Kausar,

2) Fa Swal li Li Rabbika Wan-har, 3) Inna Sha’Aniaka Hual Abtar.

Meaning:

1) Verily, I have given you th Kausar, Faountain of abundance, 2) So, pray to your Lord, and perform Qurbani (sacrifice) for Him,

3) Surely, it is your hater (one who hates you) is finished without an heir.

5. What is called Makhraj? Write the description of any four Makhraj(2019)

Answer: Makhraj means the organs (places) inside the mouth from which Arabic letters are pronounced.

The description of four Makhraj:

1) ﺮ = When the back of the tongue touches upper jaw, this letter is pronounced.

2) ﻒ= When the wet part of the lower lip touches the upper two teeth, this letter is pronounced.

3) ﻤ- ب- و= These three letters are pronounced from two lips.

4) ﻦ ﻤ =Nasal letters. These gunnah sound s comes from the base of the nose

6. What is called Waqf? Write two descriptions of Waqf that you use for reciting the Holy Quran correctly(2019)

Answer: Waqf means sign of Pause , sign of stopping,Punctuation Marks. Different kinds of Waqf are used to recite the Holy Quran correctly. Waqf is the pause between two breathings.

Two descriptions of Waqf are given below:

='This is called ‘Waqf Lazim’. The reader must stop here, otherwise there is possibility of change of meaning.

• = This sign is called ‘Waqf Mutlaq’. It is like comma. It indicates that a short break is better here. 7. Whom was the Holy Quran revealed to? Write five places that are used to pronounce Arabic

Answer: The Holy Quran revealed to Prophet Hazrat Muhammad(sm).

Five places that are used to pronounce Arabic letters are-

8. What is called Makhraj? Why do you learn Makhraj? Write two letters that you pronounce from larynx(2019)

Answer: Makhraj means the organs (places) inside the mouth from which Arabic letters are pronounced.

I learn Makhraj to know speech organ of the mouth from where the Aerabic letters are pronounced.

Two letters that I pronounce from the larynx are = ه _ ﻋ

9. Who used Waqf at first time in the Holy Quran? Write any 4 descriptions of Waqf.(2019) Answer: The man Who used these signs for the first time was Abu Abdullah Muhammad Ibne Taifur.

Four descriptions of Waqf are given below:

='This is called ‘Waqf Lazim’. The reader must stop here, otherwise there is possibility of change of meaning.

• = This sign is called ‘Waqf Mutlaq’. It is like comma. It indicates that a short break is better here.

ج= It is called ‘Waqf Jayez’. Here one may or may not stop, but stopping is the best thing to do.

= It is called ‘Waqf Muza Waz’. It is better not to stop here.

10. What is Gunnah? How many Gunnah letters are there? Write 2 sentences about Gunnah.

Answer:

Gunnah means pronouncing a word with the help of nose (nasal sound). Gunnah is technique to recite the Holy Quran with correct pronunciation and correct form of recitation.

There are 29 letters in Arabic Language. Of these 29 two are Gunnah letters: ﻤ(Meem) and ن (noon) Two sentences about Gunnah are given below:

1) If ﻤ(Meem) and ن (noon) get tashed sound then

they will give humming sound (keeping the sound inside the nose for sometime)

The smallest duration of Gunnah sound is equal to the prolonging of one ALIF

.

Answer: The shortest Sura of my text book is Sura Al-Kausar. The number of verses of it are 3. The meaning of this Sura are given below:

12. What is the name of the last heavenly book? Uponn which Prophet was the Quran revealed?

Answer: Al-Quran is the name of the last heavenly book. The Quran was revealed upon great prophet Hazrat Muhammad(sm).

5 sentences that I will be able to know/learn by reciting the heavenly book Quran Majid are given below:

 I shall be able to know about Allah.

 If i study the Quran with understanding the meaning, I can know about His messages, about His messengers, Prophets and about his angels

 I can know about the life after death.

 I can learn whose orders we shall obey in this world and whose orders we shall not obey.

 I can know how to achieve glory and success.
