Digital Photography & Imaging (DPAI)
Ontario College Diploma – 2 years
The three main areas that the program focuses on are digital capture, imaging technologies,
and entrepreneurial skills.
Students use industry standard hardware and software to capture and manipulate images in
a way that demonstrates their skill and creativity. Students learn how to integrate digital imaging techniques with the fundamentals of photography in order to create images that communicate effectively and meet the needs of a client.

Program involves interdisciplinary, problem-solving activities which combine visual
sensitivity with skill and knowledge in the area of communications, technology and business.
Courses designed to specialize in the structuring of visual information to aid communication
and orientation in both print and web based format.

Goldsmithing & Silversmithing (GLDS)
Certificate of Professional Achievement – 1 year
Students will refine their jewellery and metalworking skills, develop their design abilities and
acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to design, produce and market jewellery, flatware and hollowware.
Students specialize in either goldsmithing or silversmithing. Within their area of
specialization, students choose a number of advanced techniques to concentrate on, and develop the in-depth knowledge and skills that would allow them to work independently or as designers.

Jewellery & Metals (JMET)
Ontario College Diploma – 2 years
Comprehensive education in the design theory and technical and aesthetic skills required by
the jewellery and metals industry for entry level positions.
The emphasis in Semesters 1 and 2 is on basic information and techniques as related to
jewellery. Advanced jewellery techniques will be learned as well as hollowware and flatware in Semester 3 and 4.

Interior Design

Provides students with a broad-based proficiency in interior space design and physical space
management that will enable graduates to proceed to productive and rewarding professional careers in interior design.
The program of study begins with the development of fundamental creative and technical
design skills. These skills are directed towards assessment of clients' needs and goals and the analysis and synthesis of theoretical, technical, building code and practical knowledge in the creation of interior environments that enhance the quality of life and protect the health, safety and well being of the people who utilize the spaces.

Interior Decorating (INDC)
Ontario College Diploma – 2 years
Interior decorating is the art of creating distinctive and integrated interior environments
that respond to functional needs and address aesthetic perceptions. The program involves the planning of space, beautification and furnishing of interiors and the documentation of design concepts resulting in a composition that conveys a sense of place.
Courses are delivered in a variety of formats including lecture, studio and lab. In addition, a
variety of field trips as well as a field placement component connects students with the industry prior to graduation.

Kitchen & Bath Design (KBDE)
Ontario College Graduate Certificate – 1 year
Specialized service within the residential interior decorating and design professions.
Graduates of this program will build on previous design education and experience to acquire industry standard skills and expertise applicable to the kitchen and bath industry.
Students assess client needs and focus on function-based design solutions and aesthetic,
durability, and environmental considerations.

Museum & Gallery Studies (MUSM)
Ontario College Graduate Certificate – 1 year
Provides students with a broad-based foundation in museum and gallery work, including the
main technical areas common to all museums and galleries: conservation and collections management, exhibition design, public programming, and administration.
This one year (three semester) graduate certificate program will give students a cross
section of museum and gallery studies, combining academics, technical practice, and an internship.
