Own education as a teacher

1996-1997: Course in pedagogy of university teaching. Pedagogical division of the University of Turku (Turun yliopiston Pedagogisen jaoksen järjestämä Yliopistopedagogiikan kurssi (4 ov)

Undergraduate teaching experience.

1982-1994: Lectures on human anatomy, physiology, microbiology and pathology at nursery school in Turku altogether about 190 hours.

1980 -1985: Teaching as a research fellow at the Department of Anatomy and laboratory of electron microscopy, University of Turku. The teaching included histology and electron microscopy anatomy to medical students in small groups. Four months. 1985-1990: Teaching as a research fellow at the Department of Anatomy, University of Turku. The teaching included histology and anatomy to medical students in small groups.

1992-1997: Teaching as a research fellow at the Department of Pathology, University of Turku. The teaching included microscope exercises and practical exercises at the autopsy room.

1996 - 1997: Teaching as a clinical lecturer at the Department of Pathology, University of Turku. 11 months.

2013 - : Teaching as a professor in Cell and Molecular Pathology, Department of Biological and Environmental Science, the Faculty of Mathematics and Science.
