burning issue of today i.e. Entrepreneurship

Development and Management. The programme is

titled, “Entrepreneurship and Small Business

Management”. The course contents are so

designed that it meets the requirements for Small

Business Owners, as well as for those planning to

start their own enterprise. This is one of the

programme in the series of programmes on Entrepreneurship Development and

Management and will take you through the various steps required to cerate,

establish, and sustain a winning business plan and guide your business idea into a

This will provide foundational knowledge on concept of entrepreneurship and will

examine the strengths and weaknesses of the projected entrepreneurial plan.

Strategic Approach to Sales & Marketing for Entrepreneurs and Small

Business Owners

The contents under this head will provide theoretical inputs with practical

application of marketing strategies and subsequently plan and execute cost-effective, innovative marketing strategies, including PR marketing with pre-existing, and digital marketing solutions. The owners and entrepreneurs of successful small business will share tips, secrets, and strategies to help each other

to acquire a competitive edge and attract quality customers matching their products.

Generation of Finances (Capital and Revenue) for Entrepreneurs and Small

Business Owners

This will provide techniques and knowledge to read basic financial statements;

develop projections; learn techniques for product costing, initial profit-and-loss development & analysis, break-even analysis; manage cash flow & working capital; interpret various revenue models; and finally learn the art of reading and analysing the Balance Sheet.

Operating and Managing the Small Business Enterprise: Business Operations

& Management, Designing & Implementing Systems, and Preparing Action

This will provide skills required to be inculcated for a successful start followed by

In this section the participants will work on a

This programme is specially designed for existing and prospective entrepreneurs planning to enter the world of business and industry. In the present

scenario the GOI has constituted a specific Ministry i.e. MSME for motivating through its various resources, both Administrative and Financial, the budding youth of today to enter in the field of entrepreneurship. The human resources is the main tool for handling and managing MSMEs and hence a need to train and develop them in Entrepreneurship Development and Management. With this objective in mind the programme has been designed spread over a period of five full days which will take the participants to the entire journey of becoming and entrepreneur right from concept to its operations resulting in profitability and sustainability. TRAINERS PROFILES

1. Biographical Note of Mr. Satish K. Beri, Director, JESS Managements, Hotel & Hospitality Management Consultants.

Satish K. Beri after post graduating in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from IHM, Pusa, New Delhi, in 1971 has been rendering his professional services as Manager/ General Manager of Hotels both in the Public and Private Sector. He has been holding Senior Appointments on various Boards of Managements both in the Hotel Industry as well as in the Hotel Management Institute Bodies. He has also been an Entrepreneur manufacturing Kitchen Equipment for Hotels and also rendering Consultancy Services to new Entrepreneurs in the Hospitality Industry. Satish K. Beri was also associated with Hotel Management Institute (BCIHMCT, New Delhi) as a Senior Management Faculty & Advisor, for formulating Hotel Management Academics Curriculum and Syllabi for under-graduate and post-graduate programmes.

Satish K. Beri at present is Director, JESS Managements rendering Consultancy Services to the Hotel and Hospitality Sector, both Industry and Academics (Higher Education – Hotel Management Studies. He is empanelled as Member Expert on various Governing Bodies of IHMs and other organisations in the Hospitality Sector. He also authors Text Books in Hotel Management subjects for eminent publishers for Classroom Study and SIMs for Distance Learning Programmes of recognised Universities. At present, Satish K. Beri is associated as Principal/Secretary, Cosmic Academy in NOIDA. The academy is rendering various academic programmes in various fields of education and is being empanelled as a Registered Study Centre for Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, conducting Distance Learning Programmes, both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Levels, in Management, IT, Tourism & Hospitality Studies, and other academic fields. He is also an Eminent Guest Faculty at various institutes of Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

He has a rich experience of 42 years in the Hotel and Hospitality Industry as a Senior Hotel Management Professional, an Eminent Academician for Hotel Management Studies and an Entrepreneur rendering Consultancy Services in the Hospitality Sector both Industry and Academics (Hotel Management Institutes) from Concept to Commissioning of Projects and Operations & Management of the same thereafter.

2. Biographical Note of Mr. Sunil Kumar, C.E.O. , JESS Managements, Hotel & Hospitality Management Consultants

Having completed his BHMCT from BCIHMCT, New Delhi (Affiliated to I.P. University, New Delhi) in 2006, followed by Master’s in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Ambedkar University, Agra, Sunil Kumar has had hands-on experience in the Hotels and also of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Sector. During his education period, Sunil Kumar has undergone Internship in Hotel Operations and Management at the Hotel Imperial, New Delhi & The Radisson Mahipalpur, New Delhi followed by Management Training at The Intercontinental Eros, New Delhi.

He is a qualified Chocolatier and a Baker & Confectioner running a successful business in the field of Chocolate Making, Sugar Confectionery, Innovations in the field of Baking and Training. Sunil Kumar rendered his professional services as an Assistant Professor at Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology for 5 years teaching subjects like Bakery & Confectionery Management, Human Resource

Management, Personality Development & Communication skills, Travel & Tourism management and was also the Examination Coordinator for the Institute for 3 years. In addition to academics, he has also participated in seminars and workshops conducted by the Universities and various Private & Public Sector Organizations in areas of R&Ds’, MDPs’ and FDPs’ etc. for career enrichment.

Moving from academics to industry, Sunil Kumar worked for two years with Mrs. Bector’s Food Specialties Ltd. (Cremica) as The Executive Chef and was directly responsible for the F&B training of the Corporate Sales Team (Retail & Institutional). In addition to this he was responsible for the Human Resourcing, Training & Development, Evaluation, Appraisals & Assessments of the personnel trained by him at Pan-India level including the Company’s Chefs working under different verticals. Sunil also conducted Product Development and launched the same in the retail as well as the Institutional Sector including that with The Key Accounts (Pizza Hut, Dunkin Donuts etc.). Sunil actively participated in the Culinary Events like that of ICF, AAHAR, and Franchise India and his innovations & presentations in the field of Culinary Skills were well appreciated by the Target Audience. Sunil Kumar had also taken up the role of The Training Manager with the Tivoli Group, New Delhi on a three months contractual basis during which he conducted various MDPs’ as well as On the Job Training sessions.

Currently, Sunil Kumar is the C.E.O. of Jess Managements, rendering Consultancy Services to the Hotel and Hospitality Sector, both Industry and Academics (Higher Education – Hotel Management Studies). His other activities under the present profile includes conducting Specialty Culinary Sessions (Chef on Call) throughout the country, menu planning & merchandizing and training the Staff with hands-on-work including compiling of Service Standards Manuals. Currently, as a part of the Jess Managements, he is rendering his consultancy services to projects like Unwind- Café & Salon, Saket, New Delhi. As one of the company objective, Corporate Catering Services Areas are also being explored for Catering Services Setups in the Institutional and Education Sector in the parts of NCR
