forefront of this growing software and service transformation is Ericsson Consulting and Systems Integration/ IT (CSI IT).

The Ericsson Consulting and Systems Integration / IT organization assists service providers and operators by transforming their business strategy, processes, operations, operations support systems (OSS), business support systems (BSS), IT, cloud solutions and networks in order to meet the continually evolving and in-creasing consumer demand for, and usage of, advanced services. Ericsson aims to provide a complete, end-to-end portfolio of hardware, software and services that meet operators’ business, networks and IT needs. Ericsson supports operator needs in the building, consolidation and optimizing of data centers. A dedicated team of cloud consultants and integration experts help operators define their Telecom Cloud Transformation strategies and implement solutions across business, IT and network dimensions. The cloud practice provides services across the entire value chain, from cloud back-end infrastructure, DevOPs- end to end automation services to reduce IT software development life cycles.

We apply distributed cloud computing concepts in combination with our domain and industry expertise to develop actionable insights which cannot be derived using conventional techniques. We have applied this approach to use cases across marketing, network operations, and customer experience management.

Integration Engineer

· Understand Telecom, IT networks, and OpenSource

· Contribute to technical engagements including initial technical overview assessment regarding design, deployment, configuration, and customization of Compute, Storage and Networking

· Execute Integration work

· Perform system verification (testing) · Identify improvements & optimizations

· Through discovery conversations uncover customer pain points and develop relevant technical solutions including Proof of Concept.

· Work on cloud infrastructure to meet DevOPs need by integrating various tools. · Work in sales environment to drive revenue generation

Software Developer – Openstack

· Understand Telecom, IT networks, and OpenSource

· Contribute to technical engagements including initial technical overview assessment regarding design, deployment, configuration, and customization of Compute, Storage and Networking

· Execute Software Development work inclusive of requirements gathering · Apply Agile and waterfall methodologies as solutions warrant

· Identify improvements & optimizations · Perform system verification (testing)

· Work on cloud infrastructure to meet DevOPs need by integrating various tools. · Drive quality management of solution and release

Qualifications

· Open-source adaptations · API exposure

· Data analysis

· System integration experience · Linux/UNIX (install, configure)

· Big data analytics such as Hadoop. MapReduce, Spark is plus ·

NFV, SDN, OpenStack, Cloud Orchestration

(2) Service Enablement

Ericsson supports operator needs in evolving their business system architectures to make them more flexible, modular, and reusable to support dynamic requirements. Service Enablement drives this architectural transformation using platform-independent software and interfaces, promoting flexibility and reuse of existing IT assets. A dedicated team of consultants, integration experts, and software developers help operators to define their Service Enablement strategy and implement solutions across business, IT and network dimensions.

Integration Engineer

· Understand Telecom and IT networks

Analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a Node / Network / System.

· Installation, upgrade, integration and testing of solutions from Operating Systems to Applications (both Ericsson and Third Party)

(3) OSS Integration

The OSS Service Fulfillment practice provides services across the entire value chain, from systems integration, adaptation, and customization, to automation services that reduce the IT software development life cycle. . A dedicated team of architects, integration experts, and software developers help operators with products and services that support network telecom service orchestration, provisioning, and inventory management.

Integration Engineer

· Understand Telecom and IT networks

· Deliver services within site engineering, integration and/or configuration and/or support of products and networks in accordance with a customer service contract

· Identify faults and troubleshoot these, according to a set of defined alternatives, and apply standard resolving processes in the network

· Perform complex updates/upgrades of live networks

· Conduct customized integration of products/networks, including 3rd party products

· Plan, design and optimize the network based on the customers’ requirements with respect to the technical functionality

· Develop and design methods, tools and scripts within a defined framework and in accordance to customer and solution requirements

· Participate in on-call support rotations within the technical teams

· Participate in technical reviews and provide on-site support to our customers, local support offices and Ericsson organizations

· Hands-on configuration of the solution

· Document the new and changed functionality, creating user guide and tutorial documents · Develops and documents test cases for execution and delivery

· Installs, integrates, configures the products (Ericsson Order Care and Catalog Manager) and tests.

· Performs acceptance testing (ATP)

· Has frequent contact with the external customers or Ericsson Solution Architect.

Software Developer

Qualifications

· Knowledge of operator networks & business environments. · Knowledge of Wireless and broadband networks.

· Knowledge of Programming languages: C/C++, JavaScript, Java, HTML5/Web Developments.

· Knowledge of Oracle DB, SQL · Knowledge of WSDL, XSD and XML

· Knowledge of OS: Unix, Linux and Windows. · Knowledge of Agile and waterfall methodology.

· Knowledge of integration technologies/frameworks such as AXIS, SOAP, JMS, HTTP, Socket, FTP, SMTP/POP

· NOTE: Candidates will be given industry leading training in Toronto for 4-5 weeks on the Concept Wave Order Management/Negotiation.

(4) Big Data Analytics

The Big Data and Analytics practice at Ericsson assists customers by applying cutting edge technologies such as Hadoop and the big data ecosystem to their key business opportunities. Our dedicated team of consultants, developers and analysts provide services across the entire value chain from Big Data Infrastructure, Data Science, and Analytics. We apply predictive analytics methods in combination with our domain and telecommunications industry expertise to develop actionable insights which cannot be derived using conventional techniques. Our areas of focus include such bleeding-edge areas as analytics for the Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud (OpenStack), Television and Media (including Cable, Satellite, IPTV and Over-the-top for Mobile devices). We have applied Big Data Analytics techniques to use cases across marketing, network operations, and customer experience management.

Solution Engineer

· Understand Telecom and IT networks

· Design, develop, and deploy analytics methods for large data sets with a communications industry perspective

· Work with Big Data tools and frameworks across data storage, extraction, normalization, validation, statistical modeling, machine learning, and visualization

· Contribute to technical engagements including initial technical overview assessment

· Through discovery conversations uncover customer pain points and develop relevant technical solutions

· Work in sales environment to drive revenue generation

Data Science/ Visualization

· Understand Telecom and IT networks

· Design, develop, and deploy analytic visualization solutions relevant to communications industry needs and key indicators

· Work with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Storm, Kafka, Tableau, and Spotfire to provide visualization solutions

· Contribute to technical engagements including initial technical overview assessment

· Through discovery conversations uncover customer pain points and develop relevant technical solutions

· Work in sales environment to drive revenue generation

Qualifications

· Knowledge of operator networks & business environments.

· Good understanding of Big Data Analytics, tools, and industry trends · Hands-on knowledge of Lambda Architecture and the Hadoop ecosystem.

· Proficiency in some or all: SQL, NoSQL, database design, ETL, Talend, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Impala, Spark, HBase, Flume, Mahout, Scoop, Tableau.

· Experience in programming scripting languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Perl, Scala · Experience in analytics tools such as R, SAS, SPSS, RapidMiner, Knime

· Experience with statistical methods such as predictive modeling, pattern recognition, text mining, sentiment analysis, index building, clustering and machine learning

· Familiar with Hadoop, Spark or equivalent platform · Experience in Teradata, Netezza, BI, OpenStack etc. · Good Technical Acumen
