Overview of Domino to Exchange Interoperability
If your organization needs to migrate between Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange over an extended period of time or needs to coexist long-term with both platforms, CMT for Coexistence establishes high-fidelity interoperability and preserves user workflow between Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange. CMT for Coexistence provides support for Exchange Server 2013, 2010, 2007 and 2003.

CMT for Exchange
CMT for Exchange is the most comprehensive software available for migrating from Lotus Domino to Microsoft Exchange 2013, Exchange 2010 and Exchange Online in Microsoft Office 365.
CMT for Exchange supports migrations from Lotus Notes and Domino to on-premises and online versions of Microsoft Outlook and Exchange, including to Exchange Server 2013/2010/2007/2003 and to Exchange Online in Microsoft Office 365.
CMT for Exchange offers unmatched data fidelity, migration management, migration throughput, and transitional calendar workflow that enables users to schedule/update/reschedule/cancel single occurrence and recurring meetings regardless of the migration status of the principle or invitees. The latest version now includes support for automated migration monitoring and recovery, as well as support for 64-bit computing platforms.
Migration Data Fidelity
CMT for Exchange migrates Lotus Notes email messages, calendar entries, contacts, to-do’s, journal entries and more to Microsoft Outlook and Exchange while retaining the original text formatting, images, attachments, and links. CMT for Exchange also ensures that even custom recurring meetings are properly migrated so that any subsequent changes, reschedules, or cancellations can be entered once for all instances of the meeting. The data fidelity of CMT for Exchange significantly reduces the risk that your users will experience business process disruptions, or worse – data loss or corruption.
Migration Management
CMT for Exchange’s unique Enterprise Migration Manager (EMM) allows you to manage the entire migration project. CMT for Exchange’s EMM enables you to schedule users for migration, automatically or manually provision the users in Exchange, monitor the status of their migration, and to configure pre- and post-processing actions like decrypting encrypted email items, collecting rules and access control lists, and more. EMM also enables you to control which data, and how much data, is migrated by enabling you to filter by data type and to set quotas on the amount of data migrated per mailbox. Acting as a centralized migration management system, CMT for Exchange’s EMM reduces the risk of forgotten tasks and provides an ‘audit trail’ of tasks both completed and pending.
Migration Throughput
CMT for Exchange can scale to meet the migration requirements of any organization. Under optimal conditions, a single CMT for Exchange migration workstation can migrate more than 8 GB of data per hour. For more information on throughput, visit our website. For smaller organizations, one CMT for Exchange workstation may be appropriate. For larger migrations, multiple CMT for Exchange workstations, whether on virtual machines or individual workstations, will coordinate the work effortlessly. Adding additional workstations is a simple and painless process. These additional workstations use a technology called Automated Workload Distribution (AWD) to ensure that each workstation is kept busy continuously. Other products suffer from non-productive ‘idle-time’ because each worker waits for the last worker to complete its job before they are all handed a new batch of mail files to migrate.
CMT for Notes
Binary Tree’s award-winning CMT for Notes is the only tool you need to drastically reduce the time, effort and cost of migrating to Lotus Notes. It is flexible, easy-to-use, and is capable of migrating any number of users as well as any data types. It is administrator-driven and requires no end user interaction. CMT for Notes has been used to migrate millions of users worldwide.
CMT for Notes is an enterprise email migration software solution and can manage large migrations - up to and beyond 50,000 users at one time. There is no limit to the number of users that can be imported from a source directory. Wizards set up specific functions such as importing users, registration to the Domino directory, and end user and server-to-server migration processes.
CMT for Notes gives you the ability to create mail files during the registration process. CMT for Notes features date filtering for migrating mail, calendar, and tasks during an Exchange server-to-server migration.
Domino Consolidator
Domino Consolidator significantly reduces the time, effort, and cost of consolidating and retiring Lotus Domino domains and servers after a migration to Microsoft. When companies make the decision to move their Domino mail and applications to the Microsoft platform, they are often left with a legacy Domino infrastructure that remains in place for an undetermined period of time. With Binary Tree’s Domino Consolidator, organizations can greatly reduce their footprint of Domino servers after a migration.
CMT for Domains
Some of the most complex and time-consuming Domino infrastructure modifications include migrating, consolidating, or separating Lotus Notes and Domino Domains. CMT for Domains dramatically reduces the time, effort and cost associated with such projects. CMT for Domains completes Domino domain migration, consolidation and separation projects in an orderly fashion with limited involvement of the administrative staff and virtually no disruption of service for end users.

Deployment & Services Partners
Binary Tree Associate Partners have access to Binary Tree’s award-winning technology at an entry-level discount, without the long term training commitments. This level is earmarked for partners who have a multifaceted portfolio and may encounter messaging and migration scenarios from time to time, but do not include migration or services as a specialty in their portfolio. At this level, requirements are omitted and Binary Tree will grant entry level software discounts for registered deals and free on-line sales training that will help the partner position the Binary Tree solutions.
As a Binary Tree Authorized Partner, organizations have agreed to the first step to a productive, revenue motivated partnership with Binary Tree. This level of partner is introduced to Binary Tree solutions through on-demand sales training and has defined access to the Binary Tree sales team. At this level, requirements are collective and Binary Tree offers access to our partner portal, software
discounts for registered deals, free on-line sales training and free pre-sales support. In addition, on-demand training programs for technical staff are available for a fee and co-marketing opportunities are available upon request. These benefits allow for pipeline management discussions to help get the partner off to a successful start.
Binary Tree Accredited Partners choose to expand their relationship
further with Binary Tree by actively participating in quarterly business reviews, committing to a revenue target, and designating sales and technical resources for comprehensive product training. Accredited partners receive enhanced benefits including software discounts, on-demand technical training, access to the partner lead-share program, and earn rolling marketing development funds to conduct joint marketing activities together with Binary Tree. As our most prestigious partner level, Accredited Partners are an extension of Binary Tree and represent Binary Tree throughout the sales cycle.

Partners that are certified on our technology have the added benefit of augmenting their services income by offering Binary Tree software implementation services directly to customers. Access to these enablement tools will prepare partners to deliver consistent, scalable and higher quality services that ensure customer satisfaction.
Binary Tree SMART Partner Program
Classifications
Binary Tree offers four levels and one individual invitation only tier of partnership in our SMART Partner Program. Each is described below along with its requirements and specific benefits.
Associate Partners
Joining the Binary Tree SMART Partner Program can be handled through a phased approach. The Associate
level is a baseline, interim tier for partners who do not have a dedicated service or Microsoft line of
business, yet have been tasked with making a platform or migration recommendation, or are conducting a
marginal migration as a part of their core offering.
An Associate Partner can earn a referral fee for each deal registered, as well as merit access to our introductory online sales training and documentation via The Binary Tree Partner Portal. Signing a referral agreement and registering all deals are the only requirements for the Associate partnership level. This level is appropriate for partners who prefer a trial of the Binary Tree solutions as an interim step to greater commitment, or for partners who will make messaging platform and migration recommendations but do not offer the services to actually migrate the customer.
The only mandatory requirements for this level of partnership are:
• Partners need to complete a referral agreement and sign partnership contracts
• Partners need to watch an online, on-demand sales presentation that outlines Binary Tree’s value proposition for its software products
• Partners need to refer potential opportunities to the Binary Tree sales team by registering their deals with their Binary Tree account manager
All deal registrations are valid for 90 days to receive the software discounts. Further details on the referral portion of the program can be found in the Associate Partner Program Contract.

Authorized Partners
The Authorized partnership level is an easy way to begin the journey as a valued Binary Tree partner.
Qualification requirements for the Authorized partnership level are minimal. This level is appropriate for
partners who prefer to make a minimal upfront investment in the program and are satisfied with the basic
benefits this level provides.
The only mandatory requirements for this level of partnership are:
• Partners need to complete partnership paperwork and sign partnership contracts
• Partners need to commit sales resources to attend a short sales presentation that outlines Binary Tree’s value proposition for its software products
• Partners need to commit technical resources to attend online training and complete the certification process for Binary Tree’s migration products
• After sales enablement is complete, the partner sales team will be expected to lead sales calls and represent Binary Tree products in a professional and knowledgeable manner
• Partners need to commit qualified technical resources to complete the full technical enablement program for each migration product they intend to sell and provide services for
• Technical resources enrolled in the technical enablement program need to have prior experience with Exchange and migration for Exchange-to- Exchange migration projects and with Domino, Exchange and migration for Notes to Exchange migration projects
• Partners need to register potential Binary Tree opportunities in the online Opportunity Tracking Management system
• Partners may only use Binary Tree certified technical resources to implement software products
All deal registrations are valid for 90 days to receive the software discounts. Further details on the referral portion of the program can be found in the Authorized Partner Program Contract.
Upon request, to assist with sales and technical enablement, Authorized Partners will be granted access to the partner community portal where they can access sales collateral, pricing, product reference materials, technical knowledgebase information, and other critical sales and marketing tools. Authorized Partners can also request to participate in joint marketing initiatives and joint lead generation opportunities.

*Accredited Partners
The Accredited partnership level is the next phase in the Binary Tree SMART Partner Program. Qualification
requirements for the Accredited partnership level are more substantial; however the benefits of this level
promote increased revenue and partnership opportunities. This level of partnership is appropriate for
partners who are willing to make an upfront technology and staff investment in the program and realize
the benefits of partnering with Binary Tree.
Like Authorized Partners, Accredited Partners are eligible to receive a substantial software discount for the necessary Binary Tree solutions. However, Accredited Partners are rewarded for their active participation in sales cycle with shared marketing activities, marketing development funds, on-demand technical training and free pre-sales support.
The mandatory requirements for this level of partnership are:
• Partners need to complete partnership paperwork and sign partnership contracts
• Partners need to commit sales resources to complete the full sales enablement program including sales training, sales call mentoring and sales certification
• Partners need to register potential Binary Tree opportunities in the online Opportunity Tracking Management system
• Partners need to reach revenue targets established in the partner plan
• After sales enablement is complete, the partner sales team will be expected to lead sales calls and represent Binary Tree products in a professional and knowledgeable manner
• Partners need to commit qualified technical resources to complete the full technical enablement program for each migration product they intend to sell and provide services for
• Technical resources enrolled in the technical enablement program need to have prior experience with Exchange and migration for Exchange-to-Exchange migration projects and with Domino, Exchange and migration for Notes to Exchange migration projects
• After completion of the technical enablement process, the partner technical team will be expected to lead implementation projects and represent Binary Tree products in a professional and knowledgeable manner and may only use Binary Tree certified technical resources to implement migration software products
• Partners need to contribute a minimum of 2 case studies per year

Accredited Partners are assigned a sales account manager to personally coach them through the enablement process and to guide them through the requirements and benefits of the Binary Tree SMART Partner Program.
Accredited Partners have access to a wealth of sales tools and resources available on the secure partner community portal, including access to sales and technical certification classes, deal registration, and pre-sales support. In addition to a dedicated channel manager, Accredited Partners are assigned a sales coach who can be used as needed to assist with sales calls, special pricing and pipeline planning.
All Accredited Partners will be posted on the partner locator page on our website, are enabled to use Binary Tree partner and product logos, and are eligible to participate in joint marketing initiatives including webinars, press releases and special events. Binary Tree offers Accredited Partners assistance with marketing initiatives and will work with the partner marketing team to help develop a go-to-market strategy. To assist with sales and technical enablement, Accredited Partners will be granted access to the partner community portal where they can access sales collateral, pricing, product reference materials, technical knowledgebase information, and other critical sales and marketing tools. Additionally, Accredited Partners will have a dedicated sales lead and team that they can turn to for support in all aspects of the sales cycle, inclusive of assistance in establishing their Binary Tree laboratory infrastructure. Accredited Partners are also eligible to participate in joint marketing initiatives and joint lead generation opportunities.
Accredited Partners are encouraged to begin working with their dedicated sales account manager to start the onboarding process and enabling technical resources by completing advanced technical level self-study courses. These courses are available through the partner community portal free of charge, but do require a time commitment from technical resources.

Alliance Partners
The Alliance partnership level is a unique and specialized level of the Binary Tree SMART Partner Program.
This level of partnership is appropriate for partners that have made a commitment to invest in the Binary
Tree sales cycle through their ancillary or complementary technology that extends the Binary Tree solutions
set. With the support of their dedicated alliance manager, a customized partnership will be determined
that will outline the appropriate rules of engagement of the partnership agreement.
Together with the Binary Tree Alliance team, the companies will mutually agree to revenue targets as well as determine marketing activities and training goals if necessary as a part of the partnership deployment. Qualification requirements for the Alliance partnership level are traditional and customizable; however this level is entitled to many of the benefits of the Binary Tree SMART Partner Program to quickly enable partners to justify their initial investment.
