Hypnotized
Hypnotherapy is a form psychotherapy used to create unconscious change in the patient in the form of new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviors or feelings. Tiffany feels attracted with this kind of knowledge. Since she was a child, Tiffany loved to watch magic shows. She was and is a huge fan of David Copperfield that she has tons of his recordings inside her cabinet. Tiffany as a child was amazed by how people could feel so helpless and under the control of the magic that they would do anything as the magician said. It encouraged her to dream to be a hypnosis artisan. She achieved her dream and became the best hypnotherapy specialist in town. People with traumas, fears, and such can come to her to be healed. She is rich, she is famous, she has fame and good name, her image is good, and she has many friends. However, she lacks of one thing and that is a good lover. She is a very careful and sets high standard in seeking for the right person to own her heart. She is not a player but known to often exchange partner, not because she feels bored or just because she feels like it, but more like she never meets the right person. She always tests her lover just to find that the man is not good enough. He either wants to get inside her pants or only wants her for her wealth. Taeyeon is a very loyal follower of Tiffany since they were still in elementary school. Tiffany was scared of her, because she thought Taeyeon was gay and weird. Taeyeon
always keeps her distance so Tiffany won’t freak out. Tiffany never once
considered Taeyeon as her partner for life since she is a ‘she’ and her not so great appearance and obviously her below average height. That was until she tried to hypnotize Taeyeon just to find that her love is pure and innocent. Since that time, everything is inverted. Taeyeon wants to give up just when Tiffany realizes how
Taeyeon is the best person amongst all people who like her. It’s Tiffany’s turn to
show that Taeyeon somehow has chance to be with her.
At the Beginning
“Ms. Tiffany, are you busy?” Tiffany’s secretary named Krstal knocked on her
door and asked.
“Not really. I just finished with the patient. Come in and take a seat. I will first wake her up.” Tiffany gestured Krystal to sit and the secretary nodded.
“Now, take a very deep breath. Inhale slowly and exhale. Relax your body, let your
brain rest. Nod your head twice if you can hear me clearly and understand what
I’m saying.” Tiffany used her skill to hypnotize the patient and now was trying to
“When you hear claps, your eyes will automatically open and your consciousness will be back. Nod your head twice if you understand.” The girl again nodded.
“Krystal, will you please clap your hands for me?” Tiffany turned to her secretary.
Krystal did as her boss said and clapped her hands. Soon the girl woke up and fluttering her eyes open.
“Welcome back, Suzy!” Tiffany greeted her with her widest smile.
“Uhmm.. Where am I?” Suzy scratched her head innocently.
“You forget where you are, don’t you? Did you even remember what you were aiming for by coming to here?” Tiffany chuckled beautifully.
“You are Tiffany Hwang, right? I think I remember now. I came here to stop my
smoking habit. So, when will you heal me by get me hypnotized under your spell?” Suzy again asked obliviously.
Krystal smiled a bit. It wasn’t the first time she witnessed how Tiffany’s patient would totally forget about the things Tiffany did to her/him. However, it didn’t
mean what Tiffany did would be useless. They would need to go back again and visit Tiffany several times, depended on each person resistance toward the hypnotize method. Some would need to visit Tiffany about 5 times while some
wouldn’t even need to come back since they were already healed completely.
Anyhow, no one would come back after the 5th visits. Tiffany was known for her ability after all. There were no patient that could fight her power to hypnotize.
“I just did! Let’s see the result in one week. You said you could even finish 2 – 3
boxes of cigarettes in a day. Hopefully, starting this afternoon, your habit would
change gradually.” Tiffany smiled and continued writing about the patient’s
condition on her notes.
“You did? When? How?” Suzy looked confused.
“It wouldn’t be called hypnosis if you could remember what I did to you, my dear. Look at the time, an hour had passed since you entered my office room, right?”
Suzy gasped when she took a glance at her wrist watch.
“You are right~ Whoaaa.. you are indeed the best hypnotherapy doctor, Unnie! Well then, what should I do next?” Suzy sat up. She asked Tiffany as she was
“Actually, you should do nothing. Let the miracle does it to your body. Just make
sure you will inform me the changes you experience every single day. I want to
know the progress.” Tiffany said.
“When should I go back here again?” Suzy asked.
“Next week.” Tiffany replied shortly.
“How many times do you think I should visit you until I can stop smoking
completely? I am afraid my body is not as health as I used to be. I am still young
so I don’t want to suffer a lung cancer.” Suzy sighed.
“Don’t worry, dongsaeng. Keep praying and trying. Let God do the rest. As for
your question; it depends on the progress. If the progress proceeds nicely, I think
next week will be your last visit.” Tiffany encouraged the patient and patted her
shoulder.
“Really? Whoa! My parents will be delighted to hear it! Thanks’ a lot, Unnie!”
“You are welcome.” Tiffany replied.
“I will go home now and make sure that I will inform you my progress every single day. See you next week, Unnie!” Suzy ecstatically exclaimed and waved her
hand to Tiffany and Krystal before she left the practical room.
“Every patient loves you, don’t they?” Krystal suddenly said. She watched Tiffany
made her way back to her table. The older woman pulled the chair and sat before smiling at Krystal.
“Anyway, Jessica unnie is here to meet you. She said she would wait in the canteen on the lobby. She told me to ask you to come and meet her there.” Krystal
informed.
Krystal was Jessica’s younger sister while Jessica was Tiffany’s best friend since
forever. Krystal just graduated from her university last month and Tiffany offered her to work as her secretary since her secretary before just resigned for being
pregnant. Both, Krystal and Jessica came from a rich family and that’s why, salary wasn’t very important for Krystal, as long as she could enjoy her work.
Fortunately, Tiffany was far from being stingy that she treated Krystal as her own sister.
“Oh, doesn’t she have work today?” Tiffany asked while checking for her phone in
case there were unread messages or missed calls.
“She has but Jessica is always being a Jessica. She can come and go to work as she pleases. It’s Daddy’s company anyway.” Krystal shrugged.
“Yeah.. I wonder why you prefer to work with me, merely being my assistant slash
secretary when you can be a manager or even vice president in the near future.” Tiffany saw the message coming from Jessica, saying she wanted to meet Tiffany.
“”Like I have said so many times, unnie. Money is not everything for me. I want to
work in place where I can enjoy myself and not being treated as lady just because of Daddy’s power.” Krystal explained.
“It’s different with Jessica unnie though. She too prefers to work on her own, opening her own business like boutique or being a wedding planner but Dad won’t
allow her. She is the biggest child so she has to sacrifice her own dream if she
“Yeah.. I know. She is a nice sister for you, isn’t she? Even she looks cold from outside but deep inside, she has a very genuine heart.” Tiffany complimented her
best friend.
“Yep, unlike the rebellious sister I have that keep me waiting in the lobby instead of persuading you to come and greet me.” Jessica walked arrogantly into Tiffany’s office room. The door hadn’t been closed since Suzy left the room ealier.
“Hi to you too, unnie! Sorry, I kind of forgot you were waiting for Tiffany unnie.”
Krystal grinned widely, secretly asked her sister to forgive her.
“Bla bla bla~ You know how much I hate people who keep me waiting. Be
thankful that you are my sister and you are my best friend, Tiff.. Or else~” Jessica
didn’t need to say what she would do to should they were not valuable in Jessica’s
eyes. The glare was more than enough to make the soft hairs on their body stood up obediently.
“Err.. I think I will go and have my lunch outside with my friends. I will see you later, Tiffany unnie.” Krystal abruptly stood up and walked briskly to the door.
“Who are your friends?” Jessica’s demanding voice sent chills to Krystal entire
organs.
“You know, Amber and Luna. My high school best friends that you met on my birthday party last year.” Krystal tried to answer the question as detail as possible
since first, Jessica tended to forget things easily and secondly, because Jessica
didn’t like to accept raw information that would be useless for her.
“Oh I do remember. Say hi to your friends and don’t speed up, okay? Drive carefully.” Jessica reminded. Krystal muttered a quick yes and left the room.
“So, what brings you here?” Tiffany started the conversation.
“I’m bored with work. I practically do nothing yet I need to attend every day, join
the meetings just to hear people talking nonsense about mining condition, shares, and political condition globally. I mean, come on! We both know that I have interest in designing clothes or interior but Dad made me do this work that totally
not related with what I love.” Jessica complained.
“You know, property business is good lately and your Dad is old already. He is
view and understand his reasons. He doesn’t have any inheritor if not you. If you
selfishly decided to follow your instinct, Krystal would be the one to inherit your
Dad’s company.” Tiffany talked as she stood up and prepared the drink for Jessica.
She poured the champagne into the crystal glass and added two blocks of ice before giving it to her friend. She then made one for herself and sat on the table in front of Jessica.
“I know that, Tiff. I don’t want Krystal to experience the same thing. I want her to
chase her dream and be free. She can choose whatever she wants but I wonder why
she ended up being your assistant.” Jessica leaned back and crossed her leg on top
of the other.
“I just asked your sister the same thing. She said she wanted to work where she can enjoy herself. I don’t know. Maybe, your sister just hasn’t found what her real dream is. She is still young, Jessi. Let her have her freedom to choose for now.”
Tiffany sipped her drink. She put it on the table and hopped off to go back to her seat behind her desk.
“I will do that. I will give her one more year. If she still insists that her dream is
being your personal assistant, I myself will be the one who drag her out of your office and hire her under my supervision. I will make her be at least an assistant
“Do what you think best for her, Jessi. I know you love her so much that you want only the best for her future.” Jessica nodded at Tiffany’s statement.
“By the way, I met your most loyal secret admirer on my way here.” Jessica
changed the topic.
“Who?” Tiffany tapped her chin while thinking.
“Don’t tell me it’s that Kim Taeyeon!” Tiffany covered her mouth while gasping.
“Yep! That same Kim Taeyeon. But, she is different now. Not that different, but she has changed, Tiffany.” Jessica looked at the ceiling while trying to remember Taeyeon’s feature when she saw her hours ago.
“It’s not that I care about her changes anyway~” Tiffany rolled her eyes.
Taeyeon or full name was Kim Taeyeon was the most loyal admirer of Tiffany. Tiffany could remember clearly about Taeyeon since she used to follow her everywhere when she was young. Taeyeon was a child, a cute and introvert one she met during her childhood time. She was in the same school with Taeyeon in
the kindergarten. Tiffany was known as a bossy and loud kid while Taeyeon was vice versa. She was a timid kid who looked so weak and helpless that people or you could say kid loved to bully her.
They would hide Taeyeon’s bag, pushed Taeyeon until the girl landed on the floor
harshly, and such. Tiffany hated seeing her being bullied. She didn’t have any
feelings for Taeyeon nor did she deliberately want to help Taeyeon. She just disliked seeing bad people do evil things, moreover when they were still kids.
Tiffany’s father was a lawyer and Tiffany had always known that her father stood
for the right things; that he would defend any innocent people from being judged
and punished wrongly. That’s why Tiffany never liked things weren’t at its right
place. Bullying was one of those things Tiffany hated.
One day, Tiffany was busy reading a book when she heard kids yelling at no one but Taeyeon. Without second thought, she stood up and defended Taeyeon. She yelled back at the kids and threatened them that she would report it to the teacher if they repeated the same thing to Taeyeon. The kids were afraid and left Taeyeon
alone. Since then, Taeyeon was safe from them but it’s a different story with
Tiffany. The hero wasn’t safe from Taeyeon from since then, the girl couldn’t stop following Tiffany secretly and stalked her.
Tiffany thought it would end once her time in kindergarten was finished. She would go to elementary school anyway, and Taeyeon too. However, Tiffany’s
premonition was proven to be wrong. Taeyeon was stubborn that she entered the
same elementary school as Tiffany. Taeyeon couldn’t be said as a bother for
Tiffany since the girl never did anything wrong, moreover to her. She would only secretly admire Tiffany from afar. She would create a distance to ensure Tiffany
wouldn’t be bothered by her existence.
Elementary school ended and it was time to enter the higher education degree. Tiffany knew Taeyeon would find her ways to follow Tiffany again. Taeyeon was known as a smart girl since kindergarten that she could easily follow Tiffany to
whatever school the brunette wanted. Taeyeon’s grade would always be higher
than Tiffany anyway. In short, Tiffany was again followed by Taeyeon, She indeed enter the same school as Tiffany in junior high school. But Taeyeon was a Taeyeon; she was still the same timid and shy Taeyeon Tiffany met. Taeyeon repeated the same things she did to Tiffany when they were still in elementary school; following around while trying to create a safe distance.
Tiffany met her first love slash her first boyfriend when she entered senior high school. Undoubtedly, Taeyeon was there too; in the same school as Tiffany. Taeyeon met Sunny who then become her best friend when she was in first grade. In second grade, she met Sooyoung and together, the three of them were always being inseparable. Tiffany met Jessica on her second grade and since their attitudes were alike, they too became best friends.
Tiffany was playful and sociable while Jessica was known as an arrogant yet popular rich girl. Jessica helped Tiffany to have a relationship with a football captain named Suho on her third grade. The guy finally confessed and Tiffany
didn’t have any reason to say no, moreover when she was the first who fell for the
guy. Jessica felt happy for her friend, but it was different with what Taeyeon felt. Jessica was a playgirl that she kept changing partners. Oh well, she had everything she needed to make guys fall for her anyway.
Sunny and Sooyoung had always known about Taeyeon’s pure feelings for
Tiffany. They too knew how broken and shattered Taeyeon’s heart was when she heard Tiffany dating that guy. It’s not that Suho wasn’t a great guy, but it was only Taeyeon’s not that great to have Tiffany. Sunny and Sooyoung persuaded Taeyeon
to just confess to Tiffany for Taeyeon had kept her feelings for more than a decade. Taeyeon rejected the idea, saying that Tiffany had already had someone she loved.
The girls kept on forcing Taeyeon. They convinced Taeyeon that it would be better to confess and rejected afterward than forever keep her feelings inside. Taeyeon
contemplated the idea and she couldn’t do anything but agreeing secretly. Her
friends were right; she would never be able to forget Tiffany; she would keep
walking on the same spot if she didn’t make a move. She braced herself and
approached Tiffany when the girl was sitting on the bench of football field, waiting for her boyfriend to get change.
Taeyeon fidgeted with her fingers while asking whether she could sit beside Tiffany or not. The woman shrugged and scooted to make a space for Taeyeon. Tiffany was playing with her hand phone when Taeyeon talked again. The shy woman hesitantly confessed and admitted that she had been keeping her forbidden feelings for the latter for more than a decade. She also told Tiffany that she only wanted to say what she felt, not to make her afraid or her feelings. Taeyeon too
promised that she would never interfere Tiffany’s relationship and wished her
happy with Suho.
Tiffany was about to reply when Suho appeared. Apparently, the guy heard all of
Taeyeon’s speech. He went enraged and called Taeyeon names. He shoved
Taeyeon and told her to never appear in front of Tiffany again. He told Taeyeon how Taeyeon should just vanish from the world where Tiffany existed because
Taeyeon’s existence would only pollute the air where Tiffany would breathe.
Tiffany was too shock to react when Suho pulled her to stand up and away from Taeyeon while Taeyeon was too hurt to stay that she ran with tears in her eyes. Since then, Tiffany never once saw Taeyeon again. She did as Suho told and
vanished from Tiffany’s life.
“I know you don’t but I still want to tell you.” Jessica insisted.
“I met her on the café near my office when I often buy my favorite latte. She was
did. It’s been years since I last saw her so the curiosity got me best. I approached her.” Jessica started her story.
“She looked surprised seeing me standing before her. She reacted quickly and asked me to seat. Since we haven’t met for God knows how long, we were
awkward at first. I asked her where she was all along and she told me she moved to
America and continued her study there.” Jessica halted.
“What did she take in America?” Tiffany responded.
“Said by the one who told me that she wouldn’t care what happened to Taeyeon.”
Jessica rolled her eyes.
“She took engineering and now worked as an internal auditor in XXX company.” Jessica answered Tiffany’s question.
“Hmm..” Tiffany nodded a little as a reaction.
“Her style and appearance is totally different, Tiff. She wore black blazer with
as mine. She cut her hair short that it could only reach her shoulder at max. In short, she looks so professional, like a young executive. Unlike the Kim Taeyeon
we used to know at school back then.” Jessica took her phone and showed the
picture she took with Taeyeon before.
“Whoaa… she has indeed changed. But oh well, it’s not that I care~” Tiffany
returned the phone back.
“Who knows she still has feelings for you, Tiff.” Jessica locked her phone and put
it back to her purse.
“So?” Tiffany raised her eyebrow.
“I don’t know.. Who knows things happened back in high school could change.”
Jessica shrugged her shoulders.
“I am straight, Jessica. How long have we known each other? And since when I have feelings for women, huh?” Tiffany felt offended by Jessica’s statement that
“Are you single, Tiff?” Jessica ignored the remark and questions.
“Ah yes, I almost forgot to tell you. I just broke up with William last week.”
Tiffany smiled at Jessica.
“Now what is the reason?” Jessica sighed. It was not the first time Tiffany
mentioned her break up after only couple of months dating. Things kept repeating regularly since Tiffany had officially became a therapist.
“He wanted to get into my pants after only a month dating me! Can you believe that?!” Tiffany protested.
“What do you expect, Tiff? He is an American~ It’s normal for him to ask that thing even you have only dated him for a month.” Jessica debated back.
“Wait! Don’t you say that you knew what he wanted because you applied your skill to hypnotize him and obtained his dirty thoughts about you!” Jessica raised
her voice. She huffed adamantly.
“I am enough with you and your skills that you apply to each and every boyfriend you had since you open this business, Tiff! Where’s the fun in that? Why are you so curious to know what your boyfriend thinks of you! It’s illegal! You don’t have right to dig people’s thought, Tiff!” Jessica scolded Tiffany for the umpteenth time since it wasn’t the first time this happened.
Yes, Tiffany had always been using her skill to hypnotize each and every boyfriend she used to date. She was 24 years old and still a virgin; yes you read it right. She was a virgin. She wanted to give her first time to the one whom she truly loved and loved her back unconditionally. She appreciated purity slash virginity
that she didn’t want to give her first time to random people. That’s the main reason
why she always tested her boyfriends by hypnotizing them to obtain the access to know their real thoughts about her.
So far, there were more than 6 guys that she had hypnotized. The results were
varied, but none of them could touch Tiffany’s heart. One of them wanted Tiffany’s wealth; another wanted Tiffany because of her image; while the rests were pervert guys who wanted to get into Tiffany’s pants so much. Tiffany at first
was shocked and sad to know that the guy she liked very much wanted nothing but her wealth, image, and first time. It made her so disappointed. But as time flew, she could finally adapt and made reasons just so she could break up as soon as possible.
“Because I want to know if he is the one, Jessi! I need to know that he loves me
unconditionally and not only for my wealth! My image! Or my body! I want a
good guy to be my partner for life. Is it that wrong?” Tiffany’s voice weakened.
She hung her head low.
“It’s not what I meant, Tiff. I’m just worried about you. What if you cannot find the one you’ve been looking for after hypnotizing every guy that you dated? I just don’t want you to feel disappointed. No one is perfect, Tiff. And it is normal for a
guy to be pervert. Their hormones are uncontrollable. You need to understand
that~” Jessica walked to her friend and hugged her.
“I know, Jessi. I will be willingly giving myself completely eventually. I just need
to know that his love for me is pure; that his love is unconditional and innocent,
unlike those bastards I have dated.” Tiffany grimaced recalling her memories with
each and every ex slash bastard she used to date.
“Sighed. Whatever~ I am so enough advising you over the same things repetitively. Do what you want. Just don’t tell me I didn’t warn you before. Don’t
blame me too should you end up being a nun.” Jessica lifted both of her hands,
“Thank you for the understanding, Jessi.” Tiffany chuckled.
“Bleh.” Jessica stuck out her tongue.
“Anyway, I made a promise to have a dinner with Taeyeon. Would you like to join me, Tiffany?” Jessica offered.
“You what?!”
“Oh you didn’t hear it? I said I made a dinner-“
“I heard it correctly! But why did you do that!?” Tiffany stood up and paced
around the room.
“Why shouldn’t I?” Jessica asked back.
“Stop answering my question with another question, Jessi! Why. The. Hell. Did. You. Do. That???” Tiffany emphasized her words one by one.
“I want to know both of your reactions when you meet each other. I wanna know if
she still has feelings for you and I-“
“That is nonsense! So what if she still has feelings for me?! She is a woman for God sake! You are crazy, Jessi. So so crazy!” Tiffany interjected and pointed her finger at Jessica’s face.
“Geez.. Why are you so mad and loud! Listen to me first! I met her and I saw how
her eyes still reflected the same innocence and chastity she always had back then. When I mentioned your name, her expression changed drastically; her eyes changed. She looked sad when I asked her to meet you and follow me to your
office. She rejected nicely, saying she didn’t want to interfere your life ever again.”
Jessica sighed.
“She said she had made a promise herself that she would leave you alone years
ago. She asked me about you though and I told her you are okay. She could only
nod her head and quickly changed the topic.” Jessica ended her story.
“Do me a favor, Tiff.” Jessica turned serious.
“What is it?” Tiffany asked.
“Come with me to the dinner and on your way home, hypnotize her and obtain her thoughts about you.” Jessica requested.
“What!? Are you out of your mind?! Why should I even do that!? Should I repeat that I don’t have intention to have a relationship with a woman!! I don’t like
women! I am totally straight, Jessi! Why are you so eager to make me meet her!
You know exactly that she confessed to me years ago! I am afraid of her~” Tiffany
scowled.
“My intuition says that her feelings for you are still there; that her feelings are
genuine and innocent. I plead you just this once, Tiff. Besides, she never had enough time to finish her confessions because Suho disturbed her and made her afraid. You were too stupid back then that you could only let Suho said improper
things to Taeyeon.” Jessica stood up and poured the champagne to refill her empty
“At least, give her a chance to finish what she wanted to say years ago. I feel bad for her.” Jessica continued after gulping the drink.
“I promise I will never force you again to meet her or even talk about her in front of you after today. So? Please, Tiffany?” Jessica tried again.
“Tsk! Fine! I will go with you and hypnotize her just so she can finish what she
wanted to say and to obtain her thoughts about me. Let’s see if your intuition is
right or not.” Tiffany challengingly said.
---The dinner went awkward as expected. Taeyeon was too nervous to see at Tiffany in the eyes that she kept avoiding looking at Tiffany whenever Tiffany was trying to make a conversation. Jessica fortunately could read the situation and helped the timid woman to be more relax. They were eating in the Italian Restaurant. Taeyeon stubbornly insisted that she wanted to pay and so she did. Jessica brought a car so
Tiffany decided to just ride on Jessica’s car. The blonde was wicked and tricky for she asked for Taeyeon’s help to drive Tiffany home safely because she needed to pick up Krystal in her friend’s house.
Tiffany wanted to hit Jessica so much yet she needed to keep her composure well.
Tiffany said Taeyeon didn’t need to drive her home because she could ride a taxi. Taeyeon didn’t let her and kept asking Tiffany to drive her home. She even went as
far as making a promise that she would never appear in front of Tiffany again after this night had passed. Tiffany felt bad for the latter and finally uttered a quick yes. Jessica smirked secretly and left the couples alone.
“So, how is life there?” Tiffany started.
“It’s nice to live there. The people are more liberal and not conservative like here,
but no matter how I feel content there, Korea is still my hometown so I decided to
go back and work here.” Taeyeon answered longer than Tiffany expected. Maybe, she wasn’t as timid as she used to, Tiffany thought.
“How about you? I heard you open your own business and become a famous therapist.” Taeyeon asked back. She had her visions on the road while hands
gripping the wheel tightly.
“Yeah.. I’ve always been inspired by David Copperfield so I followed my dream and took a degree in that field. You are welcomed to consult with me if you want.”
“Thank you but as I promised, I won’t make myself appear before you again after this night. It’s enough to look stupid when we were still at school years ago. I won’t repeat my mistake again. Besides, I don’t want to scare you. I don’t want to pollute your brain with my forbidden feelings for you.” Taeyeon smiled bitterly.
“Oh okay..” Tiffany shyly took back her name card and crumpled it with her fist.
She felt bad for indirectly had caused this to Taeyeon, but at the same time she felt ashamed for being rejected.
“Pull over now, Taeyeon.” Tiffany suddenly said.
“Eh?” Taeyeon slowed down her car.
“I said pulled over!” Tiffany repeated louder.
“Take a deep breath and sleep right now.” Tiffany quickly cut Taeyeon off by
touching her forehead and pushed the older woman head back that it landed on the backrest of the seat.
“Sighed.. I must be crazy for doing this..” Tiffany palmed her face while Taeyeon
was losing her consciousness.
“Okay.. Here we go then~ I have made her sleep anyway. It would be a waste not to gain the information. In addition, she said she wouldn’t appear in front of me again starting tomorrow. So, there’s nothing to lose here~” Tiffany made an
assumption to herself.
“Take a deep breath, deeper as you breathe more~ The deeper you breathe, the deeper your sleep will be. Listen to my command, okay? Nod if you understand.”
Taeyeon nodded her head.
“Now sleep deeper and deeper. You feel like you slowly lose your consciousness.
You will answer anything I ask you and you will not lie. You will answer all truthfully, based on what your heart says. Nod your head if you agree with the
condition.” Tiffany professionally said words she often used when she was doing
“Tell me, what Tiffany Hwang means to you.” Tiffany lowered Taeyeon’s seat as
she asked so the older woman would be more comfortable.
“Tiffany is….”
---Fall for You
“Tiffany is my universe.” Taeyeon answered shortly yet firmly.
“Continue.” Tiffany didn’t realize a smile grew on her face. Many men had told
her the same thing, but she never heard any of them said it again when they were
“Tiffany is my hero.. She is the air that I breathe, the woman of my life, the person
I love the most in this world and nothing can ever replace her. She has a special place inside my heart. If I were a fish then she would be the sea that I live in.
But…” Taeyeon stopped and Tiffany could see a drip of tears escaped Taeyeon’s
eyes.
“But?” Tiffany asked curiously.
“But then again, I know my place. If she is the night then I will be the morning. If
she is the sun, I will be the moon. If she is the sea then I will be the land. It means, we can never meet because we simply are not made for each other. She is a dazzling princess while I am no one but a commoner. I am only her shadow who
used to follow her without being known; Who can only love her from afar.” More tears fell down from Taeyeon’s eyes. Tiffany reached out her hand and wiped it away. She cried along for some unknown reasons. She didn’t know why, but she could feel the pain inside Taeyeon’s words.
“I know she despised me. Her ex said so. She didn’t even need to tell me verbally
but I knew that she disliked me, that she loathed me so much. I made her feel sick
and wanted to vomit. That’s how horrible I am.” Taeyeon smiled sadly as tears
“Don’t say that. I never thought that far about you. You will not remember this at
all but just so you know; yes I admit that I dislike you for I am straight and so I am
afraid your gayness will infect me but not more than that. I swear~” Tiffany stated
honestly. She too cried harder when she was hearing the hurtful words said by Taeyeon.
“That’s why I decided to be gone for real; to be out from Tiffany’s life for real. I never want to disturb her anymore. I don’t want her to see me anymore. I want her to life her life peacefully and normally with any guy that she loves.” Taeyeon
sighed as her nose started to get red.
“I have made a promise to myself to leave her alone and I will fulfill my promise.”
Taeyeon ended her speech.
“Do you still love her, Taeyeon?” Tiffany felt touched hearing Taeyeon’s true
feelings for her. Jessica was right; what Taeyeon had for her was totally different from any man she had ever met. She was genuine and sincere, unlike the guys she ever dated before.
“I have tried so many times to stop what I am feeling toward her, but I cannot. I am
still so in love with her no matter how I’ve tried to distract myself from her. I cannot move on. But as I have promised, I will not interfere with her life anymore.
When she has married, I am sure I can move on and find the right person for me
too.” Tiffany didn’t know why she felt a jab on her heart when Taeyeon said that she would find the right person; and that person wasn’t Tiffany.
“What Tiffany has ever done to you until you fall head over heels for her?” Tiffany
pried.
“She saved me when I was still in the kindergarten. That’s when I fell for her.”
Taeyeon smiled remembering her childhood.
“But that was years ago~ It’s been 20 years passed since that event. Then why? Why do you still love her?” Tiffany composed herself and brought her hand to caress Taeyeon’s cheek. She smiled unconsciously.
“She is naturally lovable so I don’t need a reason to love her. People say that if it is
indeed a love that you feel; then you will become a stupidest person in the world
because you won’t even know the reason why you love her/him. I guess it applies well to me. I don’t know why but I know I love her. That’s that.” Taeyeon sincerely told Tiffany and again it made Tiffany’s heart skip a beat. Tiffany
shivered hearing hearty words coming straight from Taeyeon. She never once experienced being loved unconditionally, until now despite the fact that Taeyeon was a woman too like her.
“If Tiffany is right here in front of you, what will you do?” Tiffany lowered down her hand and grabbed Taeyeon’s hand and held it.
“Runaway. I will ensure that she cannot see me.” Taeyeon again sighed. Tiffany
gripped the hand tighter.
“But… Why? Why can’t you tell what you really feel for her? Why don’t you give yourself a chance to confess?” Tiffany asked simultaneously.
“I know I am stupid when it comes to love but I am not that idiot to say it to her. I don’t want her to feel guilty should she doesn’t have enough bravery to reject me. I don’t want her to be bumbling if she sees me. I don’t want all that. Her happiness is my priority.” Taeyeon exclaimed bitterly and yes, Tiffany could feel it. She traced Taeyeon’s eyebrows down to her nose using her thumb.
“If you are given a chance to kiss Tiffany, will you do it?” Tiffany said while
“Undoubtedly! But then again I know-“ Taeyeon couldn’t continue her words for Tiffany was already had her lips attached with Taeyeon’s lips. Tiffany kissed her deeply and tilted her head. She wrapped her hands around Taeyeon’s neck and nibbled on Taeyeon’s bottom lips.
“OH SHIT!” Tiffany’s eyes were widened once she realized what she just did. She pulled away quickly and breathed sharply. Taeyeon didn’t react and still had her
eyes shut just like before.
“One last question.. If Tiffany feels the same way about you, what will you do?” Tiffany didn’t know where the question came from yet she asked it.
“It is impossible.” Taeyeon exhaled deeply.
“It is not impossible because even now.. I think I have fallen for you already, Taeyeon.” Tiffany stopped doubting herself.
She felt unidentified feelings when she had her lips on Taeyeon. She felt her heart beating like crazy, hands sweating, and body trembling. So yes, she had fallen for the woman she used to hate, she used to avoid, but what could she do for her logic betrayed her heart and that she was powerless to defend herself from falling for
Taeyeon? Love chose a person, not vice versa anyway. Deep inside, Tiffany knew
if she didn’t think about the gender, Taeyeon was a perfect person to be fallen
with.
“Okay.. enough with this.. Taeyeon-ah, do you understand me? Can you hear me clearly? Nod twice if you do.” Tiffany braced herself and ordered Taeyeon.
Taeyeon obediently did as Tiffany told her and nodded two times.
“Good. When I snap my fingers twice, you will wake up and not remember a thing. Nod twice if you understand.” Tiffany again demanded and Taeyeon nodded twice. Tiffany leaned back to her seat and upheld Taeyeon’s seat back. She then snapped
her fingers twice and it made Taeyeon gain her soberness little by little.
“Tae.. Taeyeon-ah~” Tiffany put her best acting and nudged Taeyeon’s arm.
“Uh.. Oh.. What happened?” Taeyeon fluttered her eyes open slowly.
“I told you to pull away because I felt thirsty and wanted to buy myself a drink, but
as soon as the car stopped, you fainted and just conscious now.” Tiffany said the white lies.
“Is that what happened?” Taeyeon frowned, trying to remember but surely it failed
miserably.
“Yeah.. that’s what happened. Are you okay, though? Do you feel dizzy or
something?” Tiffany placed her palm on Taeyeon’s forehead and in reflex, Taeyeon gasped and back away.
“I am okay.” Tiffany pouted when Taeyeon dodged her indirectly.
“Oh good. So, can you continue driving me home? I need to get back as soon as
possible.” Tiffany flatly told Taeyeon.
“Alright.” Taeyeon knew from the start that Tiffany never liked her, so it was normal to see her treated Taeyeon coldly. Little did Taeyeon knew that Tiffany’s
feelings had changed drastically; from hate to love; from despise to needy; from strict to spoiled. Only for Taeyeon. Not any words said during the journey and in
“Thank you for the dinner and for driving me home, Taeyeon. I hope we can do
this again in the future.” Tiffany stood up in front of the entrance with Taeyeon standing right in front of her nervously.
“It is okay.” Taeyeon timidly replied.
“This is my number. I don’t care whether you want to throw it away on your way
home later or not, but I insist you to accept it.” Tiffany took Taeyeon’s hand and
placed her number inside Taeyeon’s palm.
“I will see you around, Taeyeon. Don’t be a stranger~” Tiffany stepped forward
and engulfed Taeyeon in a short hug. Taeyeon was too surprised to react.
“Bye~” Tiffany ran a little. She felt her cheeks warm and redden. She was in love.
Oh yes, she was in love for real now.
“B-bye…” Taeyeon stammered and waved to no one since Tiffany had entered
“Oh my weak heart.. Poor you~” Taeyeon rubbed her beating heart tenderly and
tried to control her breath. What Tiffany did to her just now had triggered her overdue rusty love for Tiffany. It bloomed again, and developed much deeper than before.
“This is no good. You really have to avoid her for real, Taeyeon. I need to contact Sunny and ask for her friend’s number. I hope she is still single and available.”
Taeyeon told herself before climbing the driver seat and drove away.
---“So I heard that you met Tiffany the other day and even drove her home. Tell me more about it, Taeng.” Sunny sipped her coffee gracefully while had her leg
crossed on top of her other leg.
“You did?! How could you not tell us about it?! And how could you know while I don’t!?” Sooyoung pouted. She cut her croissant and brought it to her mouth using
the fork.
“I have my connections, Soo while you? You only have food as your best friends.”
Sunny stuck out her tongue while Sooyoung pouted deeply and continued munching the meal.
“So? We are waiting, Taeng.” Taeyeon stopped chuckling when Sunny told her
that.
“I did meet her. Jessica arranged a dinner and I didn’t know that Tiffany would
come. I was so shocked but it would be impolite if I left so yeah.. We proceeded with the dinner and I drove her home.” Taeyeon shared the story with her friends.
“That’s all??? Is there anything else? Come on, Tae~ We are adults here and not that stupid.” Sooyoung protested with foods inside her mouth, making the crumb splashed to Sunny’s face.
“YAAHH!!” Sunny hit Sooyoung’s shoulder.
“Soffrryyy~” More crumbs went out from her mouth.
“Time passed yet your relationship never withers. I envy you, guys~ You both are
so in love with each other.” Taeyeon commented as she stirred her latte with a teaspoon.
“Don’t even remind me how I could fall for her~ If I could repeat the time, I would
never-“ Sooyoung cut Sunny’s words as she leaned in and pecked her girlfriend’s lips.
“I love you.” Sooyoung giggled.
“Sighed. I love you too, Soo. Now that I remember, your unpredictable sweetness is one of the reasons why I fall for you.” Sunny smiled sweetly at her girlfriend. She tenderly brushed the crumbs from Sooyoung’s chin.
“See? You are a sweet couple. I am happy for you guys. I hope you can tie the knot soon.” Taeyeon smiled genuinely.
“Thank you, Tae. We aim for that too soon.” Sooyoung grabbed Sunny’s hand and
“So, back to the story. Reveal the leftover~” Sunny stared right into Taeyeon’s
eyes.
“Hmm.. It seems that she is not as cold as she used too. She is not rude, different
from what I have expected her to be. Vice versa, she is so nice, sincere, and
humble. She looked worried when I was fainted for no reason.” Taeyeon smiled as
she was reminiscing the scene inside her head.
“Fainted?” Sunny pried.
“Yeah. She told me I was fainted when she asked me to pullover to buy drinks.
And when we have reached her apartment, she hugged me before she entered the
lobby. She also gave me her number.” Taeyeon showed them Tiffany’s number
that was written on a card.
“Huge progress I see~” Sooyoung excitedly clapped her hands.
“Naah. She was just being nice I think.” Taeyeon didn’t want to raise her hopes up
“I see… So, have you tried to contact her?” Sunny nodded her head in
understanding.
“What do you expect? Of course not… I have promised not to ever disturb her anymore, Sunny.” Taeyeon closed her palm and put the number back inside her
pocket.
“Why not? She gave you her number for a reason, Tae. And who knows that she kind of expected you to call her, right?” Sunny told Taeyeon her opinion.
“Sunny is right.” Sooyoung agreed and nodded her head.
“No. It is not possible.” Taeyeon answered. Her phone vibrated and she quickly
replied the message.
“I got to go, girls. I have a meeting an hour from now. We will talk again later, okay? The brunch bill is on me.” Taeyeon took sheets of money and put it on the
table. She waved goodbye to her best friends and rushed to her car.
“What is off?” Sooyoung asked randomly as she reread the menu book.
“What the hell are you doing? It’s not like we want to make another order!” Sunny
had her mouth opened widely when Sooyoung smiled sheepishly as a reply.
“What? The money Taeyeon gave is too much that I can buy myself another
milkshake and chocolate croissant~ Ah! you can even buy another Danish for
yourself!” Sooyoung snapped her fingers.
“Oh God. Why again I have to have her as my lover?!” Sunny rolled her eyes and
mumbled silently while Sooyoung was still trying to find what she wanted to order.
---Tiffany was hiding behind the company building where Taeyeon worked. She used cap and masker to cover her face. It was 10 minutes passed 5 pm and Tiffany had been waiting for almost half an hour. She looked at her wrist watch again for the umpteenth time and sighed. She knew she was being crazy but being in love meant
crazy anyhow, so yeah. It was kind of understandable if you were in Tiffany’s
It’s been a week since the dinner but up until now, not even a message she received
from Taeyeon, moreover a phone call. She was stupid for forgetting to ask the blonde woman about her number and Tiffany was too prideful and shy to ask
Jessica about Taeyeon’s number. She could barely sleep peacefully every single night after the meeting with Taeyeon. She couldn’t hold it back anymore and so
she did unexpected things such this.
She googled Taeyeon’s full name and found that Taeyeon worked as an internal
auditor within the XXX Company. She too found Taeyeon’s achievement and SNS, but then again she was too shy to add Taeyeon in Facebook, follow her in
Twitter or add her in Path. She couldn’t do that, and that’s exactly why she went
over the line and chose to wait for Taeyeon secretly until the woman finished working and was about to go home.
“Where the hell is she?” Tiffany hissed and stomped her feet on the floor. It
seemed that her protest was heard by God that Taeyeon appeared right before
Tiffany’s eyes. Tiffany smiled widely and tip toed to follow Taeyeon from behind
like a ninja.
“Stop where you are and follow me.” Tiffany tapped Taeyeon’s shoulder and whispered inside Taeyeon’s ear. As a reaction, Taeyeon stopped and lost her
“Come here.” Tiffany waved her hand as Taeyeon followed her obediently. Tiffany
led Taeyeon to her car and opened the passenger car for Taeyeon. Taeyeon entered the car helplessly and followed by Tiffany.
“Oh God I miss you so much, Taeyeon-ah~” Tiffany hugged Taeyeon tightly. She sniffed Taeyeon’s perfume and loved how it smelled. Taeyeon was still possessed by Tiffany’s control so she couldn’t do anything.
“Hug me back, Taeyeon.” Tiffany ordered and as soon as it was heard by Taeyeon,
the woman immediately wrapped her hands around Tiffany’s waist.
“Lean in and kiss me~” Tiffany shyly requested. By now, Taeyeon’s eyes weren’t shut like last time. They were opened yet couldn’t focus rightly, thanks’ to Tiffany.
Taeyeon automatically leaned in as Tiffany slowly closed her eyes. In seconds, their lips touched and Tiffany again found the wrong rhythm of her heartbeat. Tiffany parted her lips and welcomed Taeyeon. They kissed passionately as Taeyeon led Tiffany.
“You are no fun, Taeyeon. Laugh like you mean it~” Tiffany grimaced and in a
split second, Taeyeon chuckled. When Tiffany felt like it was enough, she told Taeyeon to stop.
“This is horrible.” Tiffany muttered under her breath.
“Listen Kim Taeyeon. When I snap my fingers twice, you will act like you are
having a date with Tiffany, okay? Tiffany is your girlfriend and you have to treat her like she is the most beautiful woman in the world. Do you understand me? Nod your head twice if you do understand.” Tiffany demanded Taeyeon and the older
woman nodded her head twice. Tiffany snapped her fingers and Taeyeon’s eyes
started to go back to normal.
“Baby? Are you okay?” Tiffany asked her worriedly, or at least she tried to give
her best act to make her ‘lover’ believe.
“Yeah, honey. What time is it?” Taeyeon asked back. She did as she was ordered
to; being the best lover for Tiffany without she even realized what really happened actually.
“It’s almost 6 pm baby~ I am hungry~” Tiffany whined. This was the first time she whined to her ‘lover’ but then again, she didn’t know why she did it. If she had to
make a reason, then she would blame love as the main cause why she could be whiny and spoiled.
“Aww, my baby is hungry?” Taeyeon giggled as she rubbed Tiffany’s abs.
“Sooo~ Hungry~” Tiffany continued to whine as she pouted.
“Okay. Let’s grab some dinner.” Taeyeon pulled away and smiled.
“Taeyeon-Ah?” Tiffany called.
“Yes?” Taeyeon answered as she fastened her seatbelt.
“I know and I love you too.” Taeyeon replied without any hesitation and smiled sincerely. She draw her head closer and kissed Tiffany’s cheek. Tiffany blushed in
an instant.
---“What do you want to order, Fany?” Taeyeon asked when she had done choosing the menu. They were now in Taeyeon’s favorite restaurant; a Korean restaurant.
“Choose it for me, Tae.” Tiffany smiled in return. She felt so happy for this was
what she hoped for; even she kind of wished it could be happen for real without she even had to hypnotize Taeyeon.
“Hmm.. Bimbimbap? You said that you are hungry, right? As for me, I will order bulgogi.” Taeyeon offered Tiffany and the woman nodded in approval.
“So, how is your day, Fany?” Taeyeon started the conversation.
“What happened my love?” Taeyeon asked worriedly.
“I missed you the whole day that I could barely concentrate doing my work.” Tiffany didn’t even try to hide her true feelings for Taeyeon. It was true, she kept
thinking about Taeyeon since a week ago and no matter how she tried to distract
herself, she still couldn’t.
“Aww~ My baby Fany. I miss you too~ I am sorry, I was busy this whole day. I
just finished auditing Finance and Tax Division today and needed to submit the
report by tomorrow that I barely had time for you.” Taeyeon said to Tiffany. She placed her hand on top of Tiffany’s hand and grasped it before she brought it near
her mouth to kiss the back of the hand.
“It’s okay, I understand. How was your day?” Tiffany felt butterflies flying around
her stomach and she had to admit it that she liked how it felt; to be loved unconditionally; to be paid attention to. She liked all about Taeyeon; how Taeyeon treated her like she was the most precious woman in the world.
“Busy. Nothing interesting happened. I had lunch with Sunny and Sooyoung. They
told me that they would hold engagement party next 2 months since just tonight, Sunny said yes to Sooyoung proposal.” Taeyeon told Tiffany regarding her day.
“Really? That’s great news! Will we be invited too, Taetae?” Tiffany didn’t know
where the nickname came from but once sure she knew; she liked how it fitted Taeyeon in a way.
“Of course, baby~ What dress will you wear?” Taeyeon smile along seeing Tiffany
got excited with the upcoming party event.
“I dunno.. I want to match it with you. But I have plan to wear black strapless dress. What do you think?” Tiffany asked for Taeyeon’s opinion.
“N.O.!” Taeyeon disapproved almost immediately.
“Why not?” Tiffany got curious and asked back.
“The dress will inappropriately show your beautiful thighs, your wonderful cleavage and collarbone, your perfect neckline… So.. It is a firm NO!” Taeyeon
“Okay, baby. Your wish is my command. Should I wear sleeping pajamas instead then?” Tiffany felt delighted knowing how possessive Taeyeon was toward her.
“That’s better. If Astronaut suit is sold anywhere, then I would buy that for you to wear to that party.” Taeyeon giggled as she teased Tiffany.
“Yaahh!!” Tiffany slapped Taeyeon’s arm.
“Hehehe.. You are only mine, Tiffany~ Only me who can see you being sexy and hot.” Taeyeon chuckled. She pulled Tiffany’s chin up and leaned in to give Tiffany
a short kiss.
“I love you.” Tiffany was caught off guard when Taeyeon did that to her. Again,
her face flushed and reddened.
“I love you too, Taeyeon.” Tiffany smiled.
She never knew love could be felt this good until now; when Taeyeon came back to her life. She was so damn sure she was straight but that was the day before she met Taeyeon. Fortunately, she did as Jessica asked and hypnotized Taeyeon; if not,
she would never know how true love feel and how it felt to be loved sincerely and
unconditionally. She hadn’t told Jessica about what happened since then. She tried to avoid Jessica as much as possible; she wasn’t ready, and should her best friend
know what she did to Taeyeon right now, she was so damn sure; she wouldn’t be able to see the sun shine the day after.
Tiffany was experienced in love field. She had so many exes that came from all over the world. She used to have American, Australian, Japanese, Korean, Philippines, Indonesian, etc. and all of them were undoubtedly were men, but none.. None of them could make Tiffany feel this way. Tiffany never judged
people from their nationality, their background, or even their wealth. She didn’t
care about all that; the most important one for her was gender and sincerity. But with Taeyeon, she could erase the gender and brought it aside because Taeyeon had every trait that she wanted in a lover; nice, genuine, sincere, and smart.
The dinner went on smoothly. Taeyeon paid attention to Tiffany meticulously;
wiped the leftover food from Tiffany’s face, placed the napkin on Tiffany’s thighs, paid for the bill, helped to mix the bimbimbap, and such. Tiffany couldn’t ask for more, she didn’t even felt bothered by the fact that Taeyeon was a woman instead
of a man; she knew she could accept that because what Taeyeon had to offer was so much more; much more than she could ever imagine.
Taeyeon took Tiffany to search for dessert in her favorite café, the café she visited with Sunny and Sooyoung last week. Taeyeon ordered strawberry cheesecake for Tiffany and chocolate mousse for her. They continued chatting throughout the night. Taeyeon revealed the stories to Tiffany; what she did when she had college abroad; how many exes she had, and such. Tiffany couldn’t help but feeling jealous when Taeyeon said she ever had 4 to 5 people as her exes two of them were
women and the rest were men. Tiffany listened attentively and didn’t share her
own stories. She thought it would be useless since Taeyeon wouldn’t manage to remember it anyway.
Tiffany gasped when she took a brief glance on her wrist watch just to know that it was already 9 pm. In a rush, she dragged Taeyeon out from the café after paying for the bills. She asked Taeyeon to drive back to her office. On her way there, Taeyeon asked why she needed to get back to office and Tiffany reasoned out that
Taeyeon’s car was left there. Taeyeon believed it and didn’t ask for more.
“Thank you for the dinner and desert, Taeyeon. I had fun tonight.” Tiffany said
once Taeyeon had stopped the car.
“I had fun too, Fany. Don’t forget to text me when you have reached home, okay?” Taeyeon ruffled Tiffany’s hair lovingly. A tear escaped Tiffany’s eyes.
“Why are you crying, baby? Did I do something wrong?” Taeyeon palmed Tiffany’s face and brushed the tears away before it managed to fall down on Tiffany’s cheeks.
“Nothing is wrong. I am just happy.” Tiffany half lied.
‘How can I text you when you won’t even remember this once I pull the spell away from you?’ Tiffany said in her mind as she felt unbearable sadness engulfed and
strangled her heart.
“Give me your phone, Taeyeon.” Tiffany said and Taeyeon gave it without asking
why. Tiffany pressed her own number and dialed it. Once she felt the vibration on
her purse, she ended the call and erased the phone log on Taeyeon’s phone before giving it back. At least, she had Taeyeon’s phone number now.
“You have to go now or I am not sure I can ever let you go, Tae.” Tiffany
threatened playfully.
“I won’t mind. Besides, we’ll be married too one day in the future. Rest assure,
bored of me that you want nothing but me having overtime at work.” Taeyeon
laughed.
“It won’t happen. I am sure of it. I love you Taeyeon.” Tiffany caressed Taeyeon’s
cheek.
“I love you too. Drive safely and call me when you are home.” Taeyeon kissed Tiffany’s forehead. Tiffany didn’t let the kiss ended for she held Taeyeon’s neck
and pushed Taeyeon so she could kiss her on the lips. Tiffany tipped her head and kissed Taeyeon deeper. The older woman reciprocated and kissed with Tiffany feverishly.
“Now sleep.” Tiffany touched the forehead as soon as the kiss ended. Taeyeon in
reflex plopped down and rested her head on the chair head rest.
“I love you for real, you know that? It’s the fastest love I have ever felt and it is
safe to say that you are my new found love, my first true love. Sadly, you feel hopeless and never want to be involved with me anymore.” Tiffany sighed as she looked at the woman of her dream.
“Kim Taeyeon, in minutes, I will order you to get out from the car and enter the
lobby of your company building. You will pretend nothing is wrong and answer adequately should a staff finds ask you where you have been; your answer will be
‘I just got back from meeting my best friends’. Do you understand me so far? Nod your head twice if you do understand.” Tiffany waited and Taeyeon nodded her
head twice.
“After answering and such, you will directly go to bathroom and enter an empty
cubicle. Then, you will sit on the toilet bowl and count until 200. When you have reached 200, your consciousness will return completely. You will not; I repeat, You will not remember a thing about what had happened to you earlier. Your last memory will be the moment you finished your job and was about to go home. Do
you hear me? Nod twice if you do understand.” Tiffany waited again and Taeyeon
nodded her head twice.
“I love you Taeyeon.” Tiffany softly said and kissed Taeyeon’s cheek tenderly.
“Now get up and get off of my car.” Tiffany summoned Taeyeon and the older
woman timidly did as she was told.
“I love you for real, Taeyeon-ah. What do I do?” Tiffany sighed as she saw
---Things Don't Go as Expected
Tiffany looked at her surroundings and ensured that no one she knew would be
around. Once she was convinced, she walked closer to Taeyeon’s company
building and waited as usual. This time she tried to set herself inside the nearby café to wait until Taeyeon appear. She ordered a light cappuccino with ice and
gingerbread. She didn’t wear her face mask today, she felt quite confidence that no
one would notice her, but she never knew her prediction would be wrong when she felt a light tap on her shoulder from behind.
“Hi Tiff!” The nickname said it all. The person behind her must have known her that she knew Tiffany’s nickname. Right?
“Hello there! How have you been???” It was Sooyoung, looking nice in simple
semiformal attire with dark color. Sooyoung took a vacant seat in front of Tiffany.
“Sooyoung?! Oh God! I am good! How are you? You look good and decent~”
“Thank you. You look as beautiful as you used to.. Oh wait,, you are more
beautiful now~ I knew I looked shabby before but Sunny changed me and
fortunately, it brought a good impact.” Sooyoung raised her hand to call the waiter.
“Are you waiting for someone?” Sooyoung asked.
“Nope. I am all alone. So you are free to sit with me.” Tiffany gave her a sincere smile. Sooyoung nodded and in no time, the waiter came and took Sooyoung’s
order which was her favorite croissant with green tea blended ice.
“What are you doing here? It’s a coincidence! To know that.. you know,, the building over there is where Taeyeon works at.” Sooyoung informed Tiffany. She surely didn’t know that Tiffany had visited the same building for the past 3 days,
oh 4 including today.
“I just passed this area after meeting with a friend and suddenly I was craving for
gingerbread so yeah, I made a stop, asking the waiter and voila~ They have what I
“What about you, Soo?” Tiffany asked back. She had bad feelings that Sooyoung’s
appearance meant something bad for her plan to date with Taeyeon.
Tiffany had visited Taeyeon’s company quite often. Since the first date she had with Taeyeon, she couldn’t help but falling deeper for her each day passed. She
kept thinking about the date she had with Taeyeon before. She knew her
occupation as a hypnotherapist, a professional that was but it seemed that it didn’t prevent her from being hypnotized by Taeyeon’s love. She felt her brain and logic shut down and hypnotized indirectly that she couldn’t really think about anything
but Taeyeon; What Taeyeon was doing, what clothes Taeyeon wore, what Taeyeon was eating, where Taeyeon was, etc.
She kept tossing and turning on her bed last night and it made her unable to sleep
until few hours later. Her mind was clouded by Taeyeon’s shadow. At first, she
wanted to only have one date with Taeyeon to satisfy her curiosity; what would it feel like to have a date with a woman instead of man? And damn! She never thought it could feel that good; so good to be honest.
Tiffany didn’t know whether she had to regret what she had done or not; in one
side, her curiosity had led her to know Taeyeon better, that if she put the gender aside, Taeyeon had every trait that a woman could seek for in a lover but in another
side, people said that curiosity kills a cat. She’s not a cat but indeed, her own curiosity had killed her. It made her feel addicted to Taeyeon and she didn’t know
what kind of rehabilitation was provided out there to cure her from being so in love with Taeyeon.
“Oh I made a promise to meet Taeyeon to give her details about my engagement with Sunny and to accompany her to the doctor.” Sooyoung told Tiffany.
“So you’re with Sunny? Congratulation, Soo! You were so close with her back then so I guess it’s not a surprise if you tell me that you wanted to get engaged with her.” Tiffany tapped Sooyoung’s shoulder before finally asking for a tight
handshake to congratulate her more properly.
“You’re okay with that? I mean, I didn’t mean to offend you but you’re quite known as a person who disliked gay community so much. It’s just surprised me that you didn’t mind and didn’t even say something negative about me being with Sunny.” Sooyoung earnestly stated. Sooyoung checked her phone after saying that
to Tiffany and found out a message from Taeyeon.
“It’s Taeyeon. She said she didn’t go to office today. She felt too dizzy to even
move from her bed. I guess, I will check up on her later with Sunny.” Sooyoung flipped close her phone and put it down on the table.
“What happened with her?” Tiffany asked worriedly.
“Eh? Hmm.. She caught a fever since last night but she told me she would drink
medicine and if she could bear it, she would come to work after lunch. But instead
of getting better, she said the fever got worsened.” Sooyoung explained briefly.
“But aside from that, she told us she might get Alzheimer and she was so afraid of that.” Sooyoung added.
“Alzheimer? Why would she think like that? She’s still as young as us.” Tiffany
tilted her head and frowned.
“She said she never remembered what she did after work. She would get out from
the building and once she regained her memory back, she would be back inside the toilet of the lobby. She couldn’t remember what she did earlier though. It’s strange,
don’t you think?” Sooyoung told the story to Tiffany. Without her knowing, the
girl in front of her was the exact reason why Taeyeon experienced those kinds of things.
“Yeah.. it is weird indeed.” Tiffany nodded her head silently. She bit her bottom
lips and felt guilty all of sudden. It was all because of her selfishness that Taeyeon had to experience this.
“I told her that probably ghost did it to her or some evil spirits that don’t like her
being inside the building that did it to her. My other guess is witchcraft. You know,
since Taeyeon works as Auditor, it’s normal for some people who do corruption
and such to dislike her to the extend want to do something bad to her. What do you
think?” Sooyoung asked for Tiffany’s opinion.
“That is possible.” Tiffany shortly replied. She sighed silently and fidgeted with her fingers under the table where Sooyoung couldn’t see it. Fortunately, it was
Sooyoung that she met, not Sunny because if it was Sunny, she was definitely sure,
she couldn’t run from the investigation and such which would lead her to admit in
the end. God undoubtedly still loved her indeed.
“See? I know right! But Sunny said I was being delusional and such.” Sooyoung pouted. Tiffany chuckled seeing Sooyoung’s expression. It’s crazy how they could
blend like best friends who just met coincidentally, when in fact, they barely greeted each other when they met in the hallway years ago.
