• From I5 take the Old Nisqually exit 116 and get on Old Pacific Hwy until it ends• Turn LEFT onto Hwy 510

• in 1/2 mile turn RIGHT onto Meridian and follow it to the stop sign at Yelm Hwy • Continue straight ahead south on Meridian through a left turn and a right turn • When you see the 20 mph left turn sign turn LEFT onto Evergreen Valley Rd • It is less than 1/2 mile on your RIGHT.

• Take exit 101 from I5 • Go east (right) on Tumwater Blvd. Stay on it until it ends. • Turn left onto Henderson Blvd • At the stop light turn right onto Yelm Highway -- follow it east about 7 miles • At the 76 station turn RIGHT onto Meridian and follow it south through a left turn and a right turn • When you see the 20 mph left turn sign turn LEFT onto Evergreen Valley Rd • It is less than ½ mile on your RIGHT

All obedience entries must be registered with ASCA or have an ASCA tracking number to compete. All breeds can compete in Junior Handling, but all Juniors going for ASCA merit points must compete with an ASCA registered Aussie that meets ownership requirements and be a Junior member. All regular Aussie conformation entries must have an ASCA registration number. Tracking number applications will be available.

SITE:

Fido’s Farm is a facility dedicated to dogs and their training. Arenas will be in pastures – if rainy, the ground can be wet, so bring boots. Obedience, Junior Handling and Conformation will

be in a covered dirt arena. Set ups are allowed, camping available, contact Fido’s Farms at 360-866-8347. Dogs are to be on leash unless competing, you are expected to pick up after your dog. Information:

Time, 20 minutes with two warnings, one at 10 minutes and one at 3 minutes Starting Setup: 6 sheep in Big Arena, 18-24 in Round Pen

Ties will be broken by the Gather score, if still tied, the Drive score will be used

1. GATHER (20 pt): time begins when gate into Big Arena is opened. Gather flock to Post A. Move sheep into Barnyard. Open - dog to remain at Post A, Handler may move halfway to sheep. Advanced - dog and handler start at Post A.

2. PEN 1 (5 pt): Move sheep from the Barn Yard into area behind chute

3. CHUTE WORK (25 pt): Load sheep into crowding alley, through footbath and into chute. Tie ribbons around the necks of 3 sheep. Release sheep into Gate Box

5. SORT WORK(25 pt): sort 3 non‐ribbon sheep into designated empty pen in Sort Yard. 

6. ADDITIONAL TASK (20 pt): Remove ribbons from the other sheep (Open removes 1 ribbon, Advanced 

removes 2 ribbons). Put sheep that have had ribbons removed in with the sheep previously penned. 

7. PEN #5 (5 pt): From the sorting yard, enter Round Corral. Sort 6 sheep into Big Arena. 

8. DRIVE/WEAR ADDITIONAL TASK (20 pt): Move sheep to Cone B (Open: any combination of driving and 

wearing may be used. Advanced: Handler remains at Cone A while the dog drives to Cone B.
