C1 Acquire knowledge on basic terminology regarding disability

C2 Acquire knowledge on physiotherapy, physical methods in medicine and apparatus. C3 Learning the methodology of novel rehabilitation

C4 Learning to analyze and synthesize data on technical, medical and economical aspects of purchasing of medical apparatus

C5 Gaining competences in preparation of project documentation, in written and oral presentation of own proposals.

PEK_W01 Knows und understands fundamental concepts of modern physiotherapy and

rehabilitation

PEK_W02 Has an extended knowledge on selected physical agents used in physiotherapy.

PEK_W03 Knows goals and methods physiotherapy treatment, including indicaions and

contraindications.

PEK_W04 Know tasks and goals of modern rehabilitation. Knows basic definitions of

therapeutic team and its role in patients treatment. Know rehabilitation models in

health care system.

relating to skills:

PEK_U01 The student is able to perform the market research relating to the apparatus and

systems for physiotherapy and rehabilitation.. Can perform the comparative

analysis of the required parameters.

PEK_U02 Is capable to perform economic analysis of realized biomedical engineering tasks.

PEK_U03 Is able to gain information from the literature survey, get the information from

journals, data bases and other source

PEK_U04 Can properly interpret, select and combine practically obtained data

PEK_U05 The student is able to draw conclusions, defend own point of view, especially in the

areas of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

PEK_U06 Is capable to present multimedia presentation and to present in written and orally

the results of own project realization.
