Payment Schedule

Prerequisites: Completion of Basic Training and Emergency Response Training (ERT).

•

This schedule reflects training fees only. Required tools and equipment costs are additional expenses.

•

Prices for 2015 training good through 12/12/2015.

Fees are reduced by $1,000 for those who have been awarded either the Sons of Widows Scholarship or the Sons of Christian Workers Scholarship. Application for these scholarships must be made in writing as outlined in the ALERT

Program Overview. Those who qualify will receive one $1,000 scholarship upon enrollment in Advanced Training. The

Finance department will notify you when scholarships are awarded.

Due to excessive credit card processing fees, please use checks to make tuition payments. If this is not possible, we can accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Tuition payments using a credit card will be charged an additional 3%

pro-cessing fee. International credit card payments will NOT be charged an additional 3% propro-cessing fee. Make checks

paya-ble to ALERT with the Responder’s name noted on the memo line. Please allow 7 business days if mailing payment, and send to:

Advanced Training Options

10-11 Week Program

Aquatics (AQ)

Must complete Open Water and Special Response Diving during ERT.

10-32 Week Program

Aviation (AV)

Contact the Director of Training for further details regarding the availability of this training option.

Basic Training Cadre (BTC)

11 Week Program

Participants are selected through an application process. No Tui-tion and Program fees for second time participants.

Building Trades (BldgT)

10-11 week Program

Contact the Director of Training for further details regarding the availability of this training option.

Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B)

10 Week Program

Contact the Director of Training for further details regarding the availability of this training option.

Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P)

34 Week Program

Only begins once a year. Successful completion of an EMT-Basic course is a prerequisite.

Emergency Services Operations (ESO)

7-22 Week Program Depending upon class size, begins in January.

Law Enforcement (LAW)

21 Week Program Depending upon class size, begins in January.

Leadership and Management (LDM)

10 week Program

Property and Facility Care- 1 (PC-1)

10-32 Week Program

Work here on campus and receive a discount for ERT. Call for details and application.

Property and Facility Care- 2 (PC-2)

10-32 Week Program

A facilities mentoring program with ALERT officers. The only charge is Room and Board.
