Make a Difference

“Every dollar makes a difference in covering our expenses,” says a Trappist abbot. Hundreds of US religious communities struggle to provide for aging

members because most senior Catholic sisters, brothers, and religious order priests served for little

pay. Your gift to the Retirement Fund for Religious helps these communities bridge the gap, offering support for medications, nursing care, and other

ne-cessities. Please be generous. Advent Confession Schedule Monday Nov 30-Thursday Dec. 17

The Southington priests have decided a Confession schedule for the season of Advent. Hopefully, eve-ryone will have an opportunity to go to Confession before Christmas. The priests will be having

Confes-sions from Monday, November 30th, 2020 until

Thursday, December 17th, 2020. Confession will be

available Monday through Thursday; 4 days a

week. The Confession schedule is as follows: please

note that each time is different and in a different church.

Confessions) from 4-5 PM (joined with Immaculate

Conception)

Tuesdays: St. Dominic Church from 1-2 PM

Christmas Masses

Pope Francis issued an indult to the entire Church that all priests are able to offer four Masses on Christmas Eve and four Masses on Christmas Day. By Canon Law a priest is able to offer only three Masses on a given Sunday or Holy Day of Obligation. Archbishop Leonard Blair, on Monday November 23, 2020 extended the papal indult for the See of Hartford, CT. With this in mind, the Archbishop reminded us of the necessity of taking more stringent precau-tions because of the rise of COVID-19 across the country. In order to attend Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day there will be sign ups. You may reserve your spot by calling the St.

Aloysius Office at (860) 276-9208 or by

email-ing staloysius@AOHCT.org. Once the Church

reaches 100 people for a given Mass time, it then

will be considered at capacity. Social distancing is a mandate and each person must wear a mask. There will be greeters to greet you as you enter the Church with the list of those of you who signed up for that particular Mass.

The following is the Mass schedule for the

two parishes:

Christmas Eve Mass (December 24, 2020)

3:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Church

5:00 PM at St. Aloysius Church

9:00 PM at St. Aloysius Church

12 Midnight at Immaculate Conception

Church (English and Polish Mass)

stalo-ysius@AOHCT.org to reserve your spot

for a Mass.

sacristy. Lector sign ups and Eucharistic Minister sign ups are available on the

bulle-tin board in the hallway, just outside of the sacristy. The Church is open Monday-Friday
