PUBLIC NOTICE

A VIRTUAL meeting of the City of Miami’s Urban Development Review Board (UDRB) will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. and broadcast from Miami City Hall.

The June 30, 2020 UDRB Meeting will be held as a VIRTUAL MEETING with board members and City staff participating through video conferencing. This virtual meeting will be broadcasted live for members of the public to view on the City’s website (www.miamigov.com/tv), YouTube, and Channel 77 (Comcast only for residents living in the City of Miami).

For your information, members of the public can leave prerecorded public comment by calling 305-250-5343 for agenda items that are scheduled to be heard at this virtual meeting. The prerecorded public comment will be played during the virtual meeting. Additionally, members of the public may also submit a prerecorded video of your public comment to be shown at the virtual meeting. The deadline to submit prerecorded phone and prerecorded video messages is June 29, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. Phone and video messages submitted after the deadline may not be played during the virtual meeting. Finally, public comment may also be submitted via an online comment form and will be distributed to the board members and made part of the public record. The public comment form can be found at https://www.miamigov.com/virtualboards. The deadline to submit public comment via the online comment form will occur when the Chairperson closes public comment for the virtual meeting.

Please note that Governor DeSantis’ Executive Order Number 69, as extended by Executive Order 20-139, suspended the requirements that the quorum to be present in person or that a local government body meet at a specific public place. The Executive Order also allows local government bodies to utilize communications media technology, such as telephonic and video conferencing for local government body meetings.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the UDRB Liaison at (786) 505-3191(Voice) no later than one (1) business day prior to the proceeding. TTY users may call via 711 (Florida Relay Service) no later than one (1) business day prior to the proceeding.
