SERVICE ASSIGNMENT

Mikron Customer Service experts support you quickly and competently in the event of machine failures, for maintenance, change-over, or for the installing of a new system. Our mechanical, electrical and programming experts are available for your specific needs.

Health Check

Efficient analysis of the system‘s current condition: The Mikron service technician will inspect your system on-site over one or two days. You will receive a written report outlining the condition of the machine, as well as recommendations regarding maintenance and replacement of worn parts.

Preventive Maintenance

With preventive maintenance, we offer a defined service package at a fixed price. The scope of services is customized to suit your machine type. Maintenance consists of two or three days and is performed by experienced Mikron service technicians, according to a Mikron Service check list and in consultation with you.

Service Agreements

With a Mikron service agreement, the functioning and precision of the system is verified and maintained on a regular basis for a fixed price. A service agreement can be defined according to your individual needs. Mikron service agreements offer a great way to minimize service costs, making it convenient for budgeting.

Revision of the entire system

Your system may require an overhaul after several years of operation to restore it to its original efficiency. After a full analysis has been per-formed, the system will be either partially or, if necessary, completely overhauled and customized to your requirements. Upon request, the system will be upgraded with state-of-the-art technology. This up-grade can be realized for mechanical, electrical and software parts of the machine.

TRAINING SERVICES

Training is a vital element of any manufacturing system. At Mikron, our structured training programs are designed to enable our customers to be self-sufficient for the majority of their needs.

Training at Mikron Service Center

Customer training courses at Mikron Service Center include the stan-dard electrical, mechanical and pneumatic parts of your machine. You will receive a “Mikron Training Certificate“.

We will provide you with the necessary technical knowledge to: - Optimally and efficiently use your system

- Complete basic adjustments

- Use the statistics and fault analysis available on the HMI - Maintain your system correctly

On-site Training

Training courses can be customized to your system and be held in your facilities in front of your own machine. Mikron Customer Service offers courses tailored to the requirements of participants and the machine con-figuration.

- Any new staff who will work on your systems

PRODUCTION ASSISTANCE

Mikron Customer Service provides production assistance services to facilitate the implementation of our new systems into production. Mikron personnel accompany your operators and maintenance staff at your facility during the “ramp-up“ production stage. Our personnel support the operation of the system and further train your operators and maintenance staff to avoid downtime due to unfamiliarity with the system.

Because our technicians have made the final adjustments to the assembly system during the debug and testing stages, they can provide your staff with the additional insight to optimize the system‘s perfor-mance. Retooling your existing system allows you to use the basis of the exist-ing machine. Mikron Customer Service can prepare the system for the production of new parts. The necessary design work will be carried out by a Mikron project team.

Experienced service technicians will implement the retooling on-site. Many of our customers combine a retooling with a system overhaul. You save a considerable part of the investment that a new system would require.

The Mikron Customer Service’s experience represents a source of genuine added value to manufacturers in the pharmaceutical and medical market. Mikron can offer FdA, GMP and GAMP 5-compliant qualification of any processes that are added or modified and provide customers with full documentation, thereby aiding them in their ho-mologation process.

MACHINE MOVES

Production conditions may change at and time during your system‘s life span, obliging you to move your assembly line to another production site. Mikron Customer Service is perfectly equipped to move your machines efficiently.

Dismantling

Let us dismantle your machines and prepare them correctly for trans-porting. Our service engineers will secure all moving parts, and detach the individual modules and peripheral devices. All components will be appropriately packed to withstand any condition they may encounter dur-ing transportdur-ing, includdur-ing transportdur-ing by sea or air. We also supply all packing materials, including wooden pallets.

Reinstallation

Our engineers will take delivery of the systems at their destination and assemble them at their new location. We naturally guarantee that the re-assembled system will be every bit as productive as it was in its old home. To ensure ongoing efficiency, we will also be happy to provide training services and production support for the new operating staff.
