Fund-based savings (FondsSparen) with the
Securities Investment Plan.
Would you like to put aside a certain amount every month or on a regular basis so that you can later fulfi l a desire or have a fi nancial cushion to fall back on? The Securities Investment Plan enables you to build up your assets gradually with funds. This gives you an opportunity to participate in the performance of securities even with small amounts, offering a great chance to see your money grow.
Fund-based savings with the Securities Investment Plan is the ideal investment if you
• invest regularly – even from just EUR 40 per month,
• invest your money in the long term – with due considera-tion of the minimum recommended savings term of the given fund – and
• are willing to take a certain risk depending on your invest-ment objective. This is because there is no guarantee that the invested capital will be recovered or that returns will be generated.
Investment funds: taking advantage of the
opportunities offered by securities.
The Securities Investment Plan gives you access to the vast universe of investments through investment funds, because funds invest in various securities, markets, sectors and re-gions, whilst also differing in terms of their investment focus. Investment funds:
The concept of an investment fund is easy to explain:
• The capital of many investors is pooled in a fund by an investment management company.
• An experienced fund management team ensures that the fund assets are invested professionally in a wide range of securities according to strictly defi ned guidelines.
• This gives you access to investment and earnings opportu-nities that are normally only reserved for institutional investors.
The broad diversifi cation among a wealth of securities reduc-es the risk of invreduc-estment funds compared to invreduc-esting direct-ly in individual securities.
Real estate funds:
Properties can also be bundled in a fund:
• Experienced real estate fund managers ensure that the right properties are selected according to precisely defi ned criteria,
• pool the various properties
• and take care of the ongoing letting and active manage-ment of the properties.
• This allows you to participate in the earnings opportunities of an extensive real estate portfolio even with small invested amounts.
Each property is valued once a year by at least two inde-pendent property appraisers. This valuation and the earnings data form the basis for the calculation of the net asset value.
Focus on your investment objective.
During a personal consultation we will help you determine which fund suits you best.
Your decision depends on
• your personal investment objective,
• your willingness to take risks,
• your fi nancial means, and
• the investment term.

1) Please note that a personal consultation with a relationship manager at Bank Austria is required in order to determine which fund is suitable for which investor.
2) Please note that this is just a very general description of possible investment targets. A detailed description can be found in the legally re-quired fund prospectus and key investor document (KID) published for the given investment fund or in the fund prospectus and simplifi ed prospectus published for the given real estate fund.
3) Please note that a full description of the risks associated with investing in a fund can only be found in the legally required fund prospectus and key investor document (KID) published for the given investment fund or in the legally required fund prospectus and simplifi ed prospectus published for the given real estate fund.
Regular savings – additional deposits at any time.
This is because the Securities Investment Plan offers you great fl exibility with your payments:
• All the earnings opportunities of the selected fund are available to you starting with a minimum initial invest-ment of EUR 2,500 and regular monthly payinvest-ments of at least EUR 40.
• Additional payments can be made at any time – for exam-ple when a contract with a building society matures.
• Any earnings (such as interest or share dividends) auto-matically remain in the fund and are reinvested after the deduction of any applicable taxes.
A piece of advice: With a dynamic standing order where the monthly payments are increased by a certain amount or percentage at your discretion, you can increase your earnings chances further.
Consistency results in cost averaging.
By regularly paying the same amount you can benefi t from cost averaging: this means that with the Securities Invest-ment Plan you buy fewer shares when prices are high and more shares when prices are low. As a result, you secure a lower purchase price for fund shares when prices are fl uctu-ating. However, since the actual performance of the selected fund over the term of the investment cannot be predicted, this can adversely affect cost averaging, especially if prices are constantly rising.
No fi xed term.
Even if there is no fi xed term for the Securities Investment Plan, we still recommend observing the minimum savings term for the given fund. Nonetheless, if required you can access your Securities Investment Plan at the current value at any time. Since investment funds are subject to price fl uctuations, the net asset value of the shares in your select-ed fund at the time of sale may be higher or lower than the original market price at the time they were purchased. If you wish, you can also withdraw amounts regularly under your Securities Investment Plan. Please note that fl uctua-tions in prices can infl uence the withdrawal period for the withdrawal amount you have designated. As a result, regular checks are required if you choose this option.
Instant overview.
As a holder of a Bank Austria account or an ErfolgsCard, you can get a daily overview of the performance of your Securi-ties Investment Plan.
