How to configure and use a TraumaCad

Plug-in with Philips iSite

After iSite plug-in is installed in the iSite Enterprise / Radiology environment (and according to the location of the plug-in – system preferences or machine preferences) the user will have a new item in the right click menu in the image area with the option to Export the image to TraumaCad for templating.

Once all is done, the below workflow can be achieved:

Organization will decide if TraumaCad client will be distributed to the client’s computers using SMS or GPO., In any case, TraumaCad client should be installed on the client PC prior to the below workflow test. Please review Appendix 2 for TraumaCad client prerequisites. (An alternative will be to install TraumaCad client manually, using an administrative user on the PC that will access TraumaCad home page at

http://TRAUMACD_SERVER_IP_ADDRESS/TraumaCadServer/main/index.aspx or

http://TRAUMACAD_SERVER_FQDN_NAME/TraumaCadServer/main/index.aspx)

TraumaCad Client computer settings

1. Add TraumaCad URL to the Internet Explorer trusted sites tab (http://TRAUMACAD-SERVER-IP-ADDRESS) 2. Add iSite URL to the Internet Explorer trusted sites tab

3. Disable any popup blocker

4. Install the integration components using this link:

https://services.voyantweb.com/Integration/PACSIntegration/iSite/OrthoWebExport.htm(allow add-on to be installed) 6. Access iSite main page (and install the ActiveX control in case this is the first usage)

8. Open iSite Preferences

Navigate to:

Machine preferences Plug Ins

9. Click on Add and fill in the plug-in details according to your TraumaCad server configuration (using the below image)

Please bear in mind that once the Disable API will be unchecked – you might receive the following warning – please click

on OK and ignore.

Finally – please click on OK to close the preferences page.

Before start working with Stentor Plug-in, you must log off from the iSite

application and log on again to reload the configuration.

Adding TraumaCad plug-in to iSite Radiology

1. Open iSite Radiology from the desktop icon

2. Install the integration components using this link:

5. Open iSite Radiology properties

7. Click on Add and fill in the following:

URL: the URL to the TraumaCadExportRad.htm plug-in file (located on TraumaCad server) Uncheck the Disable API checkbox

Check the Enable iSite Radiology checkbox

Please bear in mind that once the Disable API will be unchecked – you might receive the following warning – please click

on OK and ignore.

8. Finally – please click on OK to close the preferences page.

Before start working with Stentor Plug-in, you must log off from the iSite

application and log on again to reload the configuration.

iSite and TraumaCad integration example

1. Start iSite Enterprise client from the desktop icon or from the URL 2. Perform query

3. Double click on the study you wish to retrieve

ISite client will be opened with the images

4. Right click on the image you would like to template (the following drop down menu will be shown) click on Export Image TraumaCad

When clicking on the Export Image TraumaCad – TraumaCad client will be downloaded and

installed (administrative rights must be applied for the first installation. TraumaCad client can

be also distributed using SMS or GPO if applicable – please review above)

A progress window will appear

5. TraumaCad will be opened with the desired image

Perform templating and click on the commit button (to perform C-STORE)

6. iSite client will prompt you that a new image is available for loading
