This problem normally causes when you use another browser than Internet Explorer or when ActiveX is disabled in Internet Explorer. You have then to install the Citrix Web Client manually and in Non-Internet Explorer browsers to link the application to the ICA-Files.
Follow these instructions to download and install the Citrix Web Client manually:
1. Follow this Link:
http://www.citrix.com/download 2. Click on “Client Center”
4. Download the “Citrix Receiver for Web Access”. Version, Release Date & Filetsize may differ from Screenshot below! Filetype differs if you have chosen a different operating system than Windows used for this example.
5. In Citrix Download Manager choose “Download your file manually”. Save the package to your desired location.
6. Close all your browser windows and start the installation of the downloaded package. Click through the installation.
7. When installation is finished you might need to restart your computer. 8. Open a browser and open MyPlace. After Login start your application.
If you use another browser than Internet Explorer you have to link the ICA-files with the Citrix Web Client. The following step by step solution was made with Firefox 3.5:
1. Start Firefox and go to myplace Welcome page and Login
2. Open an Application You will see this window

There are a couple of known problems regarding the connection to MyPlace. Problems with the SSL VPN Client are general problems to establish a connection, connection disruption after a few minutes and a “Website not found” message after login.

The most of those problems occurs in cause of an installation problem of the SSL VPN Client. Please follow these steps to reinstall your SSL VPN Client:
1. Go to Start Settings Control Panel
2. Open “Add or Remove Programs”
3. Select the “Citrix Access Gateway Plugin” and click on “Remove”
4. Reboot your computer
5. Deactivate your Personal Firewall (eg. Checkpoint Zone Alarm, Norman Personal Firewall, Norton Internet Security)
6. Go to Start Run, type “services.msc” and click “OK”
7. Verify that the status of the “Windows Firewall” Service is NOTNOTNOTNOT “Started”
8. Open an “Internet Explorer” and login to MyPlace. At this first login you should use “In-ternet Explorer” to ensure the complete installation of the client.
9. Click on the Yellow information bar and install ActiveX. “Netsetup Helper”. On the follow-ing popup click “Run”
10. Click “I Accept”
11. If the installation of the SSL VPN Client takes too long the following two messages ap-pear:
