A Lenten Invitation

When two of John the Baptist’s disciples wanted to follow Jesus, the “Lamb of God.” Jesus turned and asked them, “What are you looking for?” They replied, “Where are you staying?” He responded with an invitation, “Come and see.” (John 1:35-40)

Today, we may ask the same question: Where can we find Christ? Jesus again responds with the invitation: “Come and see”.

SOCIAL EVENTS PLANNERS

Meeting:

Thursday, February 20th

7 p.m. in the Parish Center.

Is this your gift - planning special events and get togethers for others to enjoy?

Looking for persons with a desire to bring people together to have a good time, enjoy each other and meet new people.

Maybe your wish is to help this happen!

Than, this meeting is for you also. 3

TODAY WE CELEBRATE

Congratulations to all our married couples in the Parish!

Our love and prayers from each and all of your Parish Family go out to you. May God bless you each day. This is the weekend the entire Catholic world celebrates the consecration of marriages.

As spring unfolds the dreams of the earth, May you bring each other’s hearts to birth. As the ocean finds calm in view of land, May you love the gaze of each other’s mind. As the wind arises free and wild,

May nothing negative control your lives. As kindly as moonlight might search the dark, So gentle may you be when light grows scarce. As surprised as the silence that music opens, May your words for each other be touched with reverence.

As warmly as the air draws in the light, May sleep find you clear of anger and hurt. As twilight harvests all the day’s color, May love bring you home to each other. Poem By: John O’Donohue.
