Davies Group handles over 140,000 insurance claims a year on behalf of over 100 insurance companies, brokers, the Lloyds market, and other insurance based clients. Our work includes business outsourcing and loss adjusting, property repairs, disaster restoration, motor claims, surveying and subsidence engineering.

We also deal with liability claims such as personal injuries and disease and illness. We have qualified solicitors and liability claims handlers who work with businesses, local authorities and solicitors to handle their claims.

With the opportunity to work across our 17 locations throughout the UK and Ireland, our Graduates will strengthen our 700 strong team to drive growth and outstanding performance.

Our programme is designed to give graduates the opportunity to shape their future with the organisation. We need highly driven, enthusiastic and innovative individuals to help our business grow and in return we will nurture them in their chosen career path.

The programme runs over 2 years. The first 12 months will be based in our Stoke office to develop claims handling skills and insurance knowledge. Individuals will then be given the option to become an Adjuster, Liability Handler, Senior Claims Handler or enter line management. The second 12 months will then develop the individual within their chosen role.

Our Graduate Programme is made up of the following components: • A 12 week induction programme

• Professional Qualifications

• Technical and interpersonal Skills Workshops • Placements

• Mentoring

The programme will include travel to locations across the UK and occasional irregular hours.

Programme Requirements

Applications for the Davies Graduate Programme will be accepted from Graduates who meet the following requirements:

• Graduated in either 2015 or 2016 • Achieved a 2:2 or higher

• Graduated in one of the following disciplines: Law, Business, Finance and Psychology (others considered).

Specific considerations:

• We expect all graduates to live within a commutable distance of the Stoke-on-Trent area.

• After the first 12 months, there may be the opportunity to move to other locations. • Be able to travel and work in other locations within the UK.

• Graduates to hold a UK driving licence.

If you cannot commit to being flexible in location and able to travel, you may need to consider if this is the graduate programme for you.

From small domestic claims to the multi-million pound commercial and business interruption losses, we provide loss adjusting and inspection services across the UK and Ireland. Our 100 strong team of experts provide a diverse range of services, spanning household and property investors, complex loss and private clients, fraud detection and pollution. We make use of market leading technology in the field and at the desk to ensure that property claims are dealt with fast and efficiently. Our approach is to project manage claims with a strong emphasis on delivering a great service to our clients’

policyholders.

Davies Managed Systems employs over 150 people in our Stoke office and fulfils the claims management function with the group, offering one point of contact and complete control over the claims process. It is dedicated to providing the highest level of customer focused claims service across all sectors of the insurance industry. We deliver a service to more than 100 clients. Acting as a critical first point of contact for many of our clients, we manage first-party damage and third-party liability claims and subrogation issues.

Specialty claims

As the leading specialist liability loss adjuster in the UK and Ireland, we manage claims across the liability and specialty insurance markets in areas including injury, disease & illness, health & safety, property damage, construction , engineering, and the public sector.

Through our specialist Garwyn brand, we provide highly regarded liability claims service to clients, including the Lloyds market, brokers, managing agents and large self-insured entities.

Solutions

Our property solutions business

takes an integrated approach to tackling property damage, disaster restoration, reinstatement , emergency accommodation and project management.

From escape of water claims to complex project managed building and repair projects, our regional teams of surveyors, subsidence engineers and project managers deliver great service, making use of a national network of contractors, managed by us.

The following outlines the application process:

Stage 1: 4th January - 25th March -Submit C.V and Application Form

You are given the chance to provide us with information in regards to your grades, qualifications, contact details, work history, hobbies and interest and references.

Stage 2: Between 18th and 29th April - Telephone Interview

This will give us the chance to get to know you and why you are interested in the role.

Stage 3: 23rd or 26th May - Assessment Day

This is an opportunity demonstrate your skills, knowledge and attitude we are looking for.

Stage 4: 13th, 14th or 15th June - Interview

This is a formal interview where you will be asked questions in relation to the job role and how you can contribute to the business.

Start Date: The programme will begin in August
