Forgiveness

• Forgiveness is a huge reframe
• Love is FOR-GIVING
• Use forgiveness only when the client is ready
• Always clear the trauma first
• We are not forgiving the behaviour
Forgiveness
• Direct approach
– I was doing the best I could with the resources I had…in the circumstances – If I could have done better I would
– What would need to happen in order to forgive?
• Indirect approach
– What they did was unacceptable
– Gaining the other person’s perspective
– I can continue to hold onto this as long as I like – I wonder who it is hurting more?
– I wonder what they were going through that made them act like that?
– I wonder what kind of a person would do that – how do they really feel about themselves?
– The essence of me will forgive the essence of her/him/them – May be one day I will let it go and be able to forgive myself
You are what you believe

• Two men go to Africa to investigate the market for shoes. One comes back and says there is no market: they don’t wear shoes. The other one says there is a big market for sandals
• The brain does not distinguish between what is real and what is vividly imagined
• This allows us to condition our minds with the purposeful use of daydreaming
• We can create experiences that haven’t happened as though they were real
• Dreams do not necessarily come true, yet they do take us in directions
Creating possibilities
• If you knew you had all the money and support in the world, what would you do?
• If there was one thing in the world that you could do and you knew you could not fail, what would it be?
• If you knew that you only had a year to live and that you would be incredibly healthy for that year, what would you do?
• How would you like to be remembered?
• What dreams did you have as a child that you have given up on?

Rest both hands on the heart or rest one hand on the heart area and the other hand on the solar plexus or belly area while saying this.
Certification
Submit in one e-mail to your trainer your:
• Case studies (18 in total - 3 clients 6 sessions);
• Case study on self (6 case studies on self or with another practitioner/swap sessions);
• Answers to the multiple choice test, practice sessions (50 in total);
• 1 video of completing a one-hour session with a client;
• 50 practice sessions on a minimum of 20 clients;
• A one-page review of your EFT Journey, aka Practice Review;
• CPD & Supervision/Mentoring Record Log Sheet;
• Confirmation that you are committed to code of conduct as well as CPD/Mentoring hours.
• Re-attend EFT Advanced Practitioner Training as a review student/assist team before being awarded EFT Advanced Practitioner.
