For locally stored data, Infrascale offers UltrasafeMAX™, an exclusive encryption method that generates an encryption key with the customer’s passphrase as well as 256 bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). With UltrasafeMAX, Infrascale servers recognize there is a key, but only have a salted-hash of the passphrase. Only the customer with the unique passphrase and encryption key can view or decrypt the data.
