Payments Content Executive (PCE)

The eGistics Payments Content Executive (PCE) provides highly secure, distributed access to payments data and related document images for historical transaction content management. Authorized users can research, display, download, or export data and related document images – including checks, remittance coupons and advices, lists, invoices, correspondence, and envelopes – for unlimited transactions. The application’s scalability can support the requirements of the largest financial institutions and their customers.

Used by Leading Banks and Third-Party Processors

The largest third-party lockbox providers and many of the top U.S. banks use PCE to provide data and document access to their retail, wholesale and whole-tail lockbox clients. The application also provides access to EOB data and related document images for healthcare banking customers.

A common content management infrastructure across all of these payments applications allows users to access consolidated information via single sign-on, Web services or bank portal. PCE also is compatible with any legacy remittance or lockbox processing system, ensuring that users can access all of the information they need to run their business. Other key benefits include:

Client Decisioning Module for Distributed Exceptions Management

The eGistics Client Decisioning Module for distributed exceptions management (CDM) is an optional feature of PCE. CDM accelerates receivables posting by enabling corporate billers to review and correct exceptions the same-day they are processed by the lockbox provider. Banks and third-party payment processors benefit from a new source of fee income and stronger customer relationships.

Banks and other payment processors use CDM to provide their corporate clients with the ability to securely manage exception items online, the same-day they are

processed. CDM exceptions management engine groups items based on user-configurable rules and the decision status of each item. Corporate customers then securely log into CDM to accept, reject or hold exceptions, add or update information necessary to resolve exceptions, and annotate comments regarding actions taken. Customers use a single sign-on to manage exceptions captured across multiple lockbox sites. The CDM queues are “swept” at pre-defined times during the day so reviewed items can return to the payments processing workflow. CDM also supports multi-day queues for longer decision cycles.

Long-term Management of ACH Data

eGistics offers an innovative, cloud-based ACH Payment Data Management application that makes it easier and more cost-effective for banks and financial services companies to store and retrieve Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment data and any attached documents, and research and manage disputes.

Compared to traditional processing systems, the eGistics ACH solution makes it a snap to quickly search payment records to respond to customer inquiries or disputes. And banks have the flexibility to exclude certain transactions from the repository – such as internal payroll – for security and privacy reasons. What's more, our ACH management solution provides annotation capabilities, so researchers can include critical

information such as the case number of an investigation or an issue's resolution. Additionally, the solution helps users see certain patterns of payment behavior that wouldn't be obvious if an operator is looking at the data statement-by-statement – a critical capability as Regulation E consumer complaints about unauthorized debits continue to rise. The solution allows users to track multiple complaints by individuals, which can indicate a pattern of fraud.

eGistics’ ACH solution also supports long-term storage of ACH payment information.

Expedited Dispute Management

The platform also expedites the ACH dispute research and resolution process, enabling a receiving depository financial institution (RDFI) to reduce losses associated with ACH Regulation E transactions.

With the flexible eGistics platform, which allows for access across multiple sites, RDFIs can facilitate returns processing within tight deadlines, leading to higher recovery rates. What's more, eGistics' ability to search data based on configurable parameters allows RDFIs to identify patterns and trends and react more quickly to unauthorized ACH debits. And the flexible security capabilities provided by the eGistics ACH application enable an RDFI to block and restrict user access to transactions based on any ACH field.

The eGistics solution supports the filtering of all NACHA Standard Entry Class Codes (WEB, TEL, POS, ARC, BOC, POP, etc.).

ACH Originator Management and Reporting

The eGistics ACH Originator Management Reporting solution includes endpoint analysis by RDFI; SEC Analysis by type (WEB/TEL/IAT); and risk exception analysis over credit limits.

As an example, the Risk Profile Report indicates exceptions against known historical averages specific to ACH originator transactional values and volumes.
