Plumbing SA

Plumbing SA is the official magazine of the Master Plumbers Association in South Australia and is read extensively across the industry. The magazine covers industry market segments including: • Commercial, industrial and residential construction,

• Commercial, industrial and residential maintenance.

Market research indicates that over 10,000 people read Plumbing SA and that 75% of the plumbing industry, approximately 3000 plumbers read the magazine. It is also read by other trades within the construction industry.

The media, local government, state

government and politicians all receive copies of the magazine. Government and media regularly pick up on issues raised in the magazine. Circulation is comprised of 2500 print versions and electronic versions are also distributed to a growing number of

members.

• Changes to legislative and regulatory requirements

• Reporting on industrial and employment issues

• Providing business information

• Advising members about public health and environmental issues

• Reporting on new products and technologies • Advising members about new training courses

Last week of month prior to publication date.

Cancellations

Twenty eight days notification of cancel-lation.

Indemnity

It is the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure that advertisements comply with the Trade Practices Act 1974 as amended. All advertisements are accepted for publi-cation on condition that the advertiser in-demnifies the publisher and his servants against all actions, claims, loss or damages resulting from anything published on behalf of the advertisers.

Material requirements:

Press quality PDF required, with all fonts embedded.

Minimum 3mm bleed Trim marks visible

Text and logos within an advert must be at least 5mm from the trim area

Images/logos to be at least 300dpi or we will not be responsible for pixellated logos or images.

Full colour adverts must be supplied as CMYK (All spot colours must be converted to CMYK).

We will take no responsibility for colour accuracy if supplied in spot colour. If a native file is to be supplied please ensure all images and fonts are supplied as well.

Any files supplied outside these parameters may incur a cost to modify to ensure the file prints successfully. Cost will vary based on time required.

The purpose of this policy is to provide clear understanding of what is and isn’t acceptable in advertising content. The purpose of Plumbing SA is to: • Provide information and to educate plumbers

• To promote a professional plumbing industry to the public

• To assist plumbers in their day to day business operations.

Advertising can include:

• Advertising by non plumbing related manufacturers and merchants that displays pricing, offers loyalty or other incentive programs

• Advertising from plumbers, manufacturers and merchants is limited to product/brand/store specific information that is of interest to the plumbing industry

• Advertising services by plumbers and others that other members could benefit from eg, CCTV inspections, preparation of manuals and documentation.

• New or general product advertising for both manufacturer and merchant with no pricing.

• Advertising must be constructive and focus on the features and benefits of the advertisers goods or services - there must be no mention of competitors brand, perceived weaknesses or product/service

• Watermark Logo and Licence number must appear on all plumbing product advertisements where Watermarking is required by legislation.

Master Plumbers Association of SA Inc accepts no liability to advertisers for the publication of advertising which may be held contrary to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) 2011. Master Plumbers Association of SA Inc reserves the right to decline, cancel, amend or suspend any advertisement or insert as deemed to be outside MPA Advertising Policy.
