Africa Nazarene University, Nairobi, Kenya. Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Academic and Professor of Business Administration, 2001 to 2006.

 Responsible for all academic affairs, which included international faculty recruitment (paid and volunteer), faculty evaluation, faculty development, curriculum development and the registrar’s office.  Responsibilities included student recruitment, admissions,

institutional marketing and strategic planning.

 Created study-abroad opportunities for students to ANU from US colleges.

 Researched and coordinated transition to an integrated

administrative and registration software system for all operations.  Involved in fund-raising and development for scholarships, books,

computers and other resources.

 Responsible for all curriculum and evaluation documents for final accreditation, inspection and award of the Charter for the University.  Developed and formalized faculty handbook and policies.

 Researched, designed and implemented trimester system for year round programming.

 Responsible for academic budget negotiation and budget oversight for all academic areas.

 Presented academic reports to the Board of Trustees and Council.  Coordinated curriculum development for several new programs.  Served as acting chair for the MBA program, which included

curriculum development and start-up at off-site location.

 Assisted in negotiations for off-site location for evening programs.  Hosted various guests, dignitaries and volunteers at campus events

and as local tour guide.

 Represented the Vice Chancellor (president) in her absence or on request at various functions, outside meetings or as chair of committees.

 Developed and implemented procedures for articulation of certificate and diploma programs in African Region.
