Virtus is a boutique and core HR consultancy based in UAE, started in 2009. Virtus provides HR advisory services in the Middle East, Africa and Indian Sub Continent. The company is owned and led by senior HR leaders across various industries specifically in Gulf, African and Asian markets with over 100 years of joint HR expertise and experience across industries.

Virtus today also has its fully own branch offices operational in Doha, Qatar – Mumbai, Pune & Chennai in India for direct and local delivery of products and services to its clients in GCC and India.

Farid is a seasoned senior HR Leader and Consultant, with over 17 years of sound achievements in strategic HR Management. Also conferred with the ‘Global HR leadership Award’ by the world HRD Congress Council in 2009 and “Strategic Leadership Award” by APAC HRD Congress in 2011. He is a keynote speaker on strategic HR and several other HR subjects in several MEA & APAC conferences, forums and magazines.

Has a rich career history which spans across several industries including semi-government & the big 4 consulting and fortune companies worldwide including:

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), Emaar Properties, Xpert Learning, IBFI, Proctor & Gamble (P&G) and Compaq.

His indirect work experience during his consulting includes clients such as: Manazel Real Estate, Saudi Investment Company (Banaja), Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD), Abn-Amro Bank, National Bank of Dubai, Siemens, Ducab, Zadco, Visa, Nestle, Alstom, Emirates Airlines, Qatar Petroleum, NPCC, Adco, Gargash Insurance, MMI, UPS, Nissan, Caltex, United Nations-G77, Motorola and Dubai Duty Free.

He is experienced in implementing corporate-wide Change Management strategies and initiatives for fortune 500 companies across the globe, alongside implementing performance management systems based on competency frameworks, and mapping/executing talent management solutions across the board and linking it to total rewards. A seasoned HR information systems expert who has worked through complete life cycles of several HRMS system implementations such as PeopleSoft, SAP and Oracle. He has also seen through organizational change management and development over 3 major mergers & acquisitions of companies in the EMEA region, with complete transformation experience. Farid has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from USA and a master’s degree in organizational psychology from India. He has recently also completed his executive management studies in HR Strategy from the ILR School in Cornell University and is also a certified occupational Psychologists registered by the European Federation of Psychologists Association (EFPA) & British Psychological Society (BPS)
