Food Safety

Level 2 Foundation Food Safety course provides the training required by law for food handlers. It follows the National Occupational Standards developed by People 1st, the Sector Skills Council for the hospitality industry. Endorsed by HABC.

Foundation Health & Safety

Endorsed by HABC, our Level 2 course provides the training required by law for all employees in the workplace. These skills ensure organisations operate to legal standards by providing a safe environment to staff and customers.

Equality & Diversity

The Equality and Diversity Awareness course covers all nine protected characteristics of the Equality Act, 2010. It explains direct and indirect discrimination, associative and perceptive discrimination and also victimisation and harassment.

COSHH

COSHH is designed for employees who deal with hazardous substances as part of their job, or who are likely to come in contact with these substances in the workplace. First Aid Awareness

This course is ideal for workplaces that present few health and safety risks, where a nominated or appointed person is required to take charge in the event of an illness or accident. Covers basic life saving first aid that all employees should know.

Licensing Law for Bar Persons

Licensing Law for Bar Persons is essential induction training for new bar staff. This fully interactive and narrated set of courses explains key points around Licensing Law and the individual’s legal responsibilities regarding the serving of alcohol to the public. Great Grapes of the World

Skillsoft has teamed up with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) to offer the International Great Grapes of the World training course. The course helps staff to understand and recommend wine to cross-sell against food menus, enabling them to optimise up-selling opportunities and deliver excellent levels of customer service.
