ABOUT CPH LIGHTING

Cph Lighting is a Danish lighting company established in 2004.

We are located in Hjerting, a small seaside town on the westcoast of Denmark. The Cph Lighting collection consists of classic and modern designs by Guglielmo Berchicci (IT), Tom Stepp (DK), and Morten Flensted (DK). Three individual designers with a shared passion for designing high quality lighting.

Our lighting collection is

manufactured in Denmark

with the greatest attention to functionality, high quality, good design, and low energy consumption. Our products are just as suitable for private homes as for the contract market. Cph Lighting products are marketed and sold in Scandinavia, Europe, and Japan in cooperation with dedicated dealers, agents, and distributors.

Design - Guglielmo Berchicci 2005

The Eggy Pop collection is based on a simple shape

the egg

.

It is the result of the designer’s fascination with the world of insects and his humoristic approach to the design process.

Eggy Pops emit a soft and pleasant light without glare. The lamps are made of PE - a strong, UV-resistant, and recyclable plastic material, and are mounted with different fittings to fulfill various lighting requirements in private and public settings - indoor and outside.

LIGHTSQUARE

Design - Morten Flensted 2011 Lightsquare is a table lamp with a clean,

graphic expression.

Made of only three parts in Plexiglas-Satin Ice; an exclusive acrylic material with a diffuse light penetration to prevents glare. The color range of Lightsquare matches the lively as well as more subdued interiors in private homes as well as public settings.

Design - Tom Stepp 2011 Grid combines modern design with references

to the classic Scandinavian design tradition. Grid is a refined interpretation of the traditional

industrial lamp

used at methal latches. The grid adds a twist to the lamp and prevents nosy fingers from touching the bulb.

Design - Tom Stepp 1979 Oblique is a timeless and elegant lighting collection with

exceptional details, finishing and functionality. The asymmetrical design of the lamp shade ensures a glare free light which makes Oblique

the ideal reading lamp.

The on/off switch, elegantly positioned on the tilt- and 360o_-turnable shade, makes Oblique flexible and easy to adjust. Oblique is suitable for both private and public applications

OUR DESIGNERS

TOM STEPP

Born in Denmark, lives and works in the city of Helsingore. Architect at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and winner of several awards.

A versatile designer who is known for his mundane and functional designs.

Working with a number of Danish and international compa-nies within the fields of furniture design, shop concepts, light fittings, building architecture, display and applied art. Designs for Cph Lighting: Oblique, Grid, Basic, Perfo.

GUGLIELMO BERCHICCI

Born in Milan, Italy, where he lives and works. Bachelor in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan. His work of architecture and design is born from the fascination of the appearing simplicity and complexities of nature and life.

Works with product design and interior design for a number of Italian and international clients.

MORTEN FLENSTED

Born in Denmark, lives and works in Aarhus.

Trained as an electrician and graduated as an industrial designers from Kolding School of Design.

Working with a number of Danish companies, primarily industrial design (lighting, furniture, and Hi-Fi products), and graphic design.
