LC-MS requires the use of solvents with a minimum impurities which could influence the baseline and thus reduce the analysis sensitivity.

CARLO ERBA Reagents innovates by filtering its sol-vents for LC-MS at 0.1 μm to satisfy the best purity, optical transmission and no particle criteria.

The presence of inorganic ions can make the identifi-cation and quantifiidentifi-cation of impurities impossible by forming clusters, giving false peaks, damaging the device. They also have an impact on the service life of the HPLC columns.

Water is often used in LC-MS as a solvent or a pre-mixed additive for mobile phases. Minor impurities present in the water load the LC columns as soon as the analysis starts and can be salted out in gradient mode.

CARLO ERBA Reagents proposes a gradient quality LC-MS water which can be used both for UV and MS detection.

The gradient control of elution and drift AT with criti-cal wavelengths of our HPLC solvents Gold and Plus guarantee a peak free baseline.

Their optimal sensitivity allows you to evaluate in the best possible way the impurities of your samples.

To make sure that no particle in the mobile phase will hinder your analyses, we carry out a microfiltration of our GOLD solvents at 0.1 μm and for HPLC Gradient Plus at 0.2 μm.

The GOLD quality is adapted to the analysis by UPLC-MS.
