III.EXISTING SYSTEM

IV.PROPOSED SYSTEM

In our proposed framework a sensor is introduced in every dustbin with a force supply unit on each . The framework is upheld by a ultrasonic sensor, GSM module and an IOT module which all are interfaced with the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The ultrasonic sensor is utilized to check the measure of trash in the trash receptacles and can likewise send the sms alarm to the closest region office with the area of the canister with the assistance of Arduino Uno and the GSM module.

5V of power is supplied as input to Arduino and Node MCU via Micro USB Port. Arduino is an open-source platform used for building electronics projects. Arduino consists of both a physical programmable circuit board and a piece of software, that runs on your computer, used to write and upload computer code to the physical board. It has 14 digital input/output pins in which 6 can be used as PWM outputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, an ICSP header, a USB connection, 6 analog inputs, a power jack and a reset button.Arduio is connected to MCU. Two Ultrasonic Sensors are used. One sensor senses the human arrival and opens the lid and the other sensor gives alert to the respective people when the bin is filled. Ardino helps for functioning the open and closure of lid. Node MCU is a network which provides signals to the Cloud where the location and other information are stored, which helps the user to clear the bins.

VI MODULE Arduino Board UNO:

Arduino is an open-source platform used for building electronics projects. Arduino consists of both a physical programmable circuit board (often referred to as a microcontroller) and a piece of software, or IDE (Integrated Development Environment) that runs on your computer, used to write and upload computer code to the physical board. Unlike most previous programmable circuit boards, the Arduino does not need a separate piece of hardware (called a programmer) in order to load new code onto the board -- you can simply use a USB cable. Additionally, the Arduino IDE uses a simplified version of C++, making it easier to learn to program. Finally, Arduino provides a standard form factor that breaks out the functions of the micro-controller into a more accessible package. Arduino is an open source computer hardware and software company, project, and user community that designs and manufactures single-board microcontrollers and microcontroller kits for building digital devices and interactive objects that can sense and control objects in the physical world. The Arduino Uno board is a microcontroller based on the ATmega328. This contains all the required support needed for microcontroller.

Node MCU is an open source IoT platform . It includes firmware which runs on the ESP8266 WiFi SoC from EspressIf Systems, and hardware which is based on the ESP-12 module. The term "Node MCU" by default refers to the firmware rather than the development kits. The firmware uses the Lua scripting language. VII IMPLEMENTATION

 After setting up the Smart Dustbin and making all the necessary connections, upload the code to Arduino and provide 5V power supply to the circuit. Once the system is powered ON, Arduino keeps monitoring for any object near the Ultrasonic Sensor.

 If the Ultrasonic Sensor detects any object like a hand for example, Arduino calculates its distance and if it less than a certain predefined value, Arduino will activate the Servo Motor and with the support of the extended arm, it will list the lid open.

 After certain time, the lid is automatically closed.

 Another Ultrasonic Sensor detects the garbage level inside the dustbin. When the garbage reaches the particular distance the buzzer starts to alarm.

This lessens the absolute number of outings of trash assortment vehicle and consequently decreases the general consumption related with the trash assortment. It at last assists with keeping neatness in the general public. Notwithstanding this it likewise helps to decrease the requirement for high human mediation in trash upkeep of the district and contamination observing framework. The general framework is practical, easy to use and it assists with decreasing HR, endeavors and time utilization and consequently helps in asset optimization. Also the framework advises the status regarding every single dustbin progressively situated all through the city so the concerned authority can dispatch the trash assortment vehicle just when the dustbin is totally full or is going to full. Be that as it may, since the innovation is new in India, appropriate mindfulness ought to be made among people in general before it is actualized for an enormous scope. Something else, touchy gadgets like sensors may be harmed because of unpleasant activity of the clients. As the size of trash receptacle size expands, the need of sensors will likewise increment.
