Phd in computer science • Research interests The focus of my reseach is:

Machine learning algorithms, with particolar attention on evolutionary programming techniques, like genetic programming, applied on bioinformatic and biology domain.

Collaboration with physicians of two clinical institutes of Milan for recostructing a data base with clinical, therapeutical and genomic data of patients under Oral Anticoagulation Therapy (OAT).

Study and implementation of a relational clustering framework applied to different life science problems.

During my phd studies I attended these courses:

In particolar, different kind of information belonging to the textual analysis of web pages has been combined using a visual layout analysis algorithm. Major attention has been focalized on the study of web pages’ images and on the text inherent to them.
