Supervise and evaluate twenty-five full-time and adjunct faculty members of the English and Spanish Department. Coordinate, plan, prioritize and implement student, faculty,

departmental and division projects which support college mission, short-term goals and long-range plans. Organize and prepare presentations for division committee meetings, including the Assessment Committee and the Advisory Committee. Assist with design,

implementation, evaluation and reporting of the current General Education Assessment program. Participate in the Task Force to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of college services. Coordinate faculty to evaluate and modify current course curriculum to ascertain student needs. Design and direct the campus English Writing Lab, as well as design and direct the expansion of those services to provide writing tutoring online. Help promote literature and student involvement by sponsoring Sigma Kappa Delta, English Honor Society, seeking funding for and organizing a poetry contest.

Assist with design and implementation of General Education Assessment Plan. Coordinate with department chairs for collection of artifacts, review of assessment assignments, and grading sessions.
