We welcome you to the european city of strasbourg for the skull base course at the ircad institute. this workshop is designed to give neurosurgeons and ent physicians the opportunity to enhance their skills in a variety of surgical approaches to the skull base. attendees will benefit from an optimal surgical lab environment.

a panel of experts will deliver extensive lectures focusing on the complex anatomy of the skull base, surgical and endoscopic approaches and therapeutic strategies for skull base lesions.

the course set-up will include hands-on dissection with two delegates per specimen (injected fixed specimen).

the skull base courses are accredited by the european accreditation council for continuing medical education (eaccme) to provide cme activity for medical specialists in their home european country. every eits course is designated as meeting the criteria for the american medical association (ama) physician’s recognition award (pra) category 1 credit(s)™. physicians may apply to convert eaccme credits into ama pra category 1 credits™.

the ircad/eits courses meet the guidelines established in the “sages framework for post-residency surgical education and training” and are endorsed by the society of american gastrointestinal endoscopic surgeons.

eits courses have been endorsed by the european association for endoscopic surgery (eaes). every ircad/eits course is accredited by the conseils nationaux de la formation médicale continue (cnfmc) under the identification number 100 117 to provide cme credits for the following french classification “médecins salariés non hospitaliers et médecins hospitaliers”.
